*Rated Outstanding by Ofsted* My name is Sarah. I am a very happily married Mum with my own daughter near Navigation Road station in Timperley. Our home is friendly and ideal for learning. We are non-smokers. I am fully insured and live near to Navigation Road tram for you to get to work if you need to. I also have parking nearby.
I have a dedicated playroom along with other inside and outside space and a veritable toy library of resources so I can customise the toys on offer to your child’s interests. Equally I can customise outings to your childs interests; learning is all around us in parks, museums, libraries, playcentres to name a few.
I am full of energy, on children’s wavelength, but get on with adults with my can do attitude to life. I am a great communicator in English (first language), German, Spanish and level 1 sign language. I have friends from many different cultures who enhance my love and understanding of the world. As a result of this, I have a wealth of experience catering for cultural requirements in children’s diets (hindu) and allergies (dairy, egg, fruit, nut and soya).
Prior to childminding I managed a team of Fraud Analysts and have experience of searching for excellent childcare as a working parent. This helps me understand the task you face and I can work with you to surpass your expectations to ensure the best learning and fun experience for your child. I had so much fun being around children with my own child and friends, that I trained as a childminder to blend my love of children with my love of life and here I am! I will compile Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) reports about your child's development to inform and support you in all aspects of your child’s learning journey along the way.
I buy Fairtrade produce as much as I can and teach the children about recycling and the environment. I love to keep up to date with new regulations and developments to improve further your child’s learning.

My Experience
I have learnt a great deal through my own child and the children in my care over the years. I have first hand experience of many playgroups and children’s activities locally so can tailor a programme of groups and activities to your child. I also work to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, regulated by Ofsted, which is the curriculum for children until the August after they become five years of age.

I regularly go on courses to keep myself updated and to make the optimum experience for the children.
My Availability
7:30am to 6pm Monday to Thursday. I take 4 paid weeks holidays per year and paid bank holidays.
I may have a space available from birth to preschool age from October 2021 if you would like to contact me to discuss your requirements.

- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
My Fees: £44 per day for pre-schoolers and school age children in holiday time.
Before and after school care available for school age children who attend Navigation Primary School. Fees available upon request.
Term time only or part time contracts available.

Our daughter has been looked after by Sarah for over two years, and we can’t rate her highly enough. She is extremely professional, and we always know that she is looking after our child beautifully. Sarah provides a loving and fun home environment for our daughter, with sensible boundaries. All the children are very fond of each other and can’t wait to visit.

Our little girl has been four days a week with Sarah for over a year now and we are really happy with our choice. We were initially torn between the promised structure and curriculum of a nursery and the more "natural" environment and flexibility offered by a childminder. When we found Sarah her enthusiasm and expertise meant we were confident she'd offer the best of both worlds. We also liked some of the details like the use of public transport and visits to museums and various play groups. Our little girl certainly has some adventure!
My parents are both teachers and they are both really impressed with there granddaughters development and enjoy reading the regular reports. We get a lot of information about up coming activities and I've learnt a thing or two about different cultural festivals Sarah's introduced too. This reassures us she's having a stimulating time but also helps us link activities together when we enjoy our precious weekends together.
The house is great for the purpose. Sarah rotates books and toys in the living room which is always clean and tidy before our daughter starts getting involved. There's clearly a lot of engaging activities and we like that our 20 month old has been playing with older kids as well as her own age for the past year or so. Cellar contains a play room with ball pool and other exciting games. The garden is also on the agenda and we also know that the local parks get a look in so there's a good mix of our door activities too.
We get a detailed daily log book with activities and latest eating and nappy related info plus occasional txts and formal termly reports. We also receive loads of crafts that have been produced by our daughter and she enjoys discussing them with us.
In conclusion we can tell our child really enjoys her time with Sarah, we are sure it's really boosted her development and we could not recommend her more highly.

Sarah has looked after my son in after school and holiday care for 3 years since he joined Reception. I have complete confidence in the care he receives as he is happy, stimulated and excited about the time he spends with Sarah, her family and the other children she has in her care. Sarah puts a tremendous amount of effort into the activities she carries out with the children in her care. She is totally aware of their individual needs whilst considering the needs of the group. I would recommend Sarah if you are looking for a dedicated, caring and fun child minder for care for your child.
