Fred, our little boy has been going to Linda's childminding since he was around 10months old, he is now 3 and still absolutely loving it. Fred always talks about Linda, Connie and the doggies and looks forward to going every week. Fred was come on leaps and bounds since being with Linda and has made lots of friends. I work shifts and Linda has always been really accommadating with this, allowing me to book Fred's sessions to suit my shifts and swapping/changing days if needed. Linda's is like a home away from home for Fred and although we've got a while until he starts school, we will be gutted when it's time for him to leave.

Warm and nurturing space to leave your most precious child. Linda is loving and kind, they did great activities, it felt more like we were leaving our child with our parents, rather than a business. Linda was also very flexible and accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to take our child. We are very grateful for linda and her mum for caring for our son.

We sent our daughter, Margot to Linda's childminding 3.5 years ago when she was just 10 months old and we're so very glad we did. Linda and Nanny Connie became a second family to her, welcoming her warmly with affection and exciting play everyday. This was all throughout COVID when everyone was hypersensitive and nervous and yet Linda made the whole process very safe and easy. I highly recommend sending your child, especially in those younger years when you want to know your child is in a happy, family environment.

Our son was with Linda from 9 months until age 3. Linda made him, and us, feel so comfortable straight away and he enjoyed going every day, which is such a relief as parents.
She creates a fun and home like environment with lots of learning opportunities. She encourages friendships and promotes kindness in the children. She is incredibly patient, caring and warm and gives her all to the children in her care.
We feel very lucky that we found Linda!

My little boy Cole started with Linda when he was 10 months old - as he was born in lockdown he'd had very little contact with other people and I was initially very nervous about him being able to settle with someone else. Linda put me at ease straight away and within a week Cole was happy and excited to be going to her every day. 2 months after starting with her, he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Linda undertook all the training from the hospital to help care of him, without hesitation and learned so much about his condition that I felt nothing but confidence in her ability to care for him.
Cole absolutely thrived with Linda - he had so much fun every day, made lots of friends and just loved Linda and Nannie Connie. He started pre-school in September and we were so sad to say bye to them and Cole still talks about his time there. I can't recommend her enough.

Linda and her mum Connie took great care of my twins who were 2 years old. It was their first time in a formal childcare setting so there were a few worries beforehand, but they both settled in much quicker than I expected and would run in each morning. They enjoyed their time at Linda's and the activities they did whilst there, especially around holidays and occasions. It was a warm, family setting and perfect for them to get used to being away from home and with other children before moving to a preschool environment. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter joined Linda and Nanna Connie when she was 18 months old and was very very happy there right up until she left for preschool this September. She absolutely loved her time with Linda and still asks when she can go and play with with her and Connie! The loving and encouraging family environment was ideal for Ruby, playing with children of all ages and getting out and about with Linda and Connie. I felt perfectly happy every day I dropped her off every day knowing she would be safe, happy and stimulated. She made some great friends there - namely Linda and Connie who she loves dearly. If you are in search of a nurturing, friendly environment full of happiness and positivity look no further. I would recommend Linda in a heartbeat.☺️☺️☺️

My son started going to Linda’s when he was six months old and stayed until he was 3!! My daughter also attended for a few months, we sadly had to leave Linda due to relocating.
I cannot tell you how special this lady is! From the moment I met her I knew she would always go above my beyond for the children she cared for.
Linda is kind, supportive, experienced, loving, approachable, friendly and so much more!
My children absolutely adore her, we were made to feel part of the family.
Linda is a very special woman indeed and we are so grateful to her for everything she did for Sam and Emmie.
Connie, Linda’s mum is also AMAZING!
A wonderful family :)

As soon as I met Linda, I knew she would take great care of my son. She didn't disappoint! She was always smiling and full of fun - my son adored her. He was very happy to be with Linda and her mum, Connie, plus all the other children. There were plenty of age appropriate toys for him, both inside and out, and she made sure they went out to the park often as well. She set very firm but fair boundaries but most of all, she made sure that my son was happy. He had no problems settling in, and would bound through the door without a backwards glance every morning. At the end of every day, he would be full of stories of the fun things he and his little friends had got up to. I would have no hesitation using Linda again or recommending her to others.

Linda was our first ever childminder for out 2.5 year old boy. He was very happy to go there and always come back smiling too. Never had any issues and would happily recommend. I am sure our transition to pre-school is now made also easier.

Our daughter Sacha stayed under Linda's care for about 18 months from 6 months old to about 2 years. Sacha now started at the nursery because we thought she was ready to go to the next stage and wanted her to be prepared for pre-school.
We have been extremely happy with Linda’ s work with Sacha and Sacha was always extremely happy to spend her days with Linda. So happy that often she was not even looking back to us. Linda is a caring and dynamic person. We got regular updates on Sacha’s progress through pictures or daily chats. Linda has also been flexible when we needed it. In conclusion, an excellent childminder who help us in preparing Sacha for the future. Highly recommended.

My son has been with Linda for the best part of a year now and he has come on leaps and bounds. His confidence and speech is the most noticeable improvement since coming. He adores Linda and Connie and I feel so at ease leaving him there as they have created the most amazing home from home experience.

Linda has been caring for our son Sam since he was about 12 months old (he's almost 3 now) and we can say for certain that we have not been disappointed with the level of care. We knew from the first visit that Linda's home would be the right environment for Sam as it felt so much more personal and homely compared to other nurseries we had visited. This view has been confirmed by the real excitement and complete comfort Sam shows about going to Linda's which for a first time parent has been a huge relief and made leaving him a lot easier. We love hearing about all the things Sam gets upto with the other children also in the care of Linda and Connie, certainly the days seem to be full of fun! Linda and Connie always make sure to give us a run down of Sam's day so that we're aware of the good (and the not so good!) but we have most certainly seen Sam's development progress in a very positive way. Although we also have the online baby diary for the extra level of detail and lovely pictures of how he spends his days. Whilst the paper diary that Linda kept was really thorough, the change to the online baby diaries has really strengthened the level of detail available to us as parents and allowed us to be able to share this detail with grandparents and we really enjoy reading through it. Having recently had another baby, we have no doubts about where we hope to send Sam's brother in the near future.

Niamh has been going to Linda for over a year now and we wouldn't send her anywhere else. Linda and Connie have made going back to work a lot easier and Niamh loves every minute. We get lots of pictures and updates on Niamh's progress and know she's in safe hands.

Our daughter Elspbeth has been cared for by Linda for a year and a half, initially for two days then three days a week, since she was nine months old. Linda, supported full-time by Connie, has gone to great lengths to make her feel welcome, secure and safe, and to ensure her needs are met. As a result, Elspbeth settled into Linda's care very quickly, and now often talks about her friends at Linda's house. Over the time she has spent at Linda's, we have appreciated Linda's warm and caring nature, alongside a reassuring level-headedness and willingness to listen to our wishes.
Linda's home is ideally suited to childcare: it is safe and clean, she has a wide range of toys, games and activities, and the child-friendly garden and location close to local amenities make for plenty of opportunities for rich, creative, stimulating and varied play. Elspbeth often comes home with a new creative project in her bag. Linda provides healthy snacks for all the children and helps Elspbeth at meal times. Additionally, in the first few months, Linda patiently supported Elspbeth's weaning, assisting her in overcoming some swallowing problems, for which we were extremely grateful.
Linda takes care to report back to us on the milestones, no matter how small, that Elspbeth achieves, and how these relate to the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. This is done verbally each day, and in writing each week, accompanied by a photograph. We have found this very reassuring, and we are confident that Linda Elspbeth's development has been well supported.
Linda currently cares for a relatively wide age range of children, of whom Elspbeth is the second youngest, but they still manage to make sure Elspbeth's specific needs are met. They manage to find time dedicated to Elspbeth but also carefully plan activities for the whole group that Elspbeth can participate in, enjoy, and that are appropriate for her developmental and emotional priorities. Linda has also taken the children to play groups, to ensure that they also learn to socialise in bigger groups of children, and has adapted her routines with Elspbeth to ensure a more seamless transition for Elspbeth into pre-school.
We have only positive things to say about the level of care Elspbeth receives at Linda’s, and would not hesitate to recommend Linda to any parent considering her as childminder for their children.
