About Me
Since gaining my N.N.E.B qualification in 1982, I have been working as a nanny. I love working with children and find nannying a very rewarding career. Children in my care are encouraged to learn through play, whether inside or out, and are kept active with a variety of activities throughout the day. These include attending playgroups, music classes, playing in the park and outings to interesting places. I enjoy reading to/with children and encourage learning - colours, letters, numbers, etc., though a varied range of activities. With all the families I have worked with, I have encouraged healthy eating. Cooking fresh meals and teaching children how to cook. If possible, I have set up small vegetable gardens for the children to grow their own food.
When I am not working, I enjoy, photography, travelling, theatre and long walks in the countryside.
Currently, I regularly volunteer and work on a part time basis at Brooklands Museum in Weybridge.
Ideally looking for a job in the East Molesey area, working 1 or 2 days per week from 8am - 6/6.30pm (negotiable).
