About Me
I am mom to a handsome, happy, witty & remarkably kind 11 year old boy who is on the autism spectrum. i live Harlow, Purford green along with my husband. i'm a pharmacist working in chelmsford and surrounding towns and i need support around my shift pattern. Our son is autistic but is verbal and quite bright. He doesnt like very loud sudden noises like the vacuum cleaner or handryer in public toilets. He starts at Harlow Fields School in September & will be dropped home by sch transport after school. but we need childminder to collect him from school transport drop point (our home address) for 4 days/wk (Mon, Tues, Thurs & Friday) 3hrs/day during sch term and possibly up to 40hr/wk (variable) during holidays. transport has scheduled their drop off time for approx 3.40pm. My boy is quite a character, he is neurodivergent, very energetic and needs routines to keep him settled. He enjoys trampolining and being on the swing. He likes using media devices, tablets, games etc and loves watching his favorite cartoons on kids youtube via his 'precious' phone device. Loves composing digital music, watching train videos on youtube and going on train rides on the underground, simply mad about underground/metro trains. also loves watching planes at the airport, familiar with commercial airlines all over the world and their logos. He is obssessed with maps especially underground tube map. He's a healthy eater and absolutely goes nuts for cheese.
My Requirements
3.40pm pickup from purford green address 4 days a week (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday but can be 3 days if 4 not possible), finish time 6.30pm. Also some cover needed during holidays.
