About Me
I'm married with two daughters 17 and 19, we live in Stone, Aylesbury. I'm Ofsted Registered Childminder and First Aid Trained. I'm a member of Childcare.co.uk and am an Accredited Childminder which enables me to offer Funded places to 2,3 & 4-year-old children. I am part of the Forest Childcare Association to enhance outdoor learning within my curriculum and the natural world around us
I offer a secure and loving environment for children. I have a large enclosed, safe garden with a variety of play equipment and encourage outdoor play. Activities includes, Local Nature days out to the Woods, farms and local woodlands, Tiggywinkles, Libraries, and play at home include Books, singing, dressing up, water & sand play, painting and crafts and lots more.
I've completed the Diploma in Homebase Childcare (Level 3) and attends regular training as part of me personal development.

My background is Contract management in Data Networks. I've been home with my own children for the last 14 years and became a registered childminder in September 2009.
My Qualifications
Diploma in Homebase Childcare, First Aid Trained, Food Safety, Safegaurding Children and I attend short courses on a regular basis.

Karin looked after our 1 year old for the past year and showed enormous patience and care as our little one took a lot of settling. We were incredibly grateful of Karin’s gentle perseverance, and the bond her and our daughter created afterwards made me very emotional when her time at Karin’s ended. This is a testament to Karin’s genuine investment in the children she cares for, as is her warm and nurturing home and garden setting, and she endeavours to get the children out and about whenever possible. Home cooked meals were really appreciated and Karin’s loving nature should encourage anyone looking for a childminder to giver her a call. Thank you very much Karin.

Karin has been completely amazing as a childminder in her care and attention to detail for our child for the past 4 years. We feel so fortunate to have found such a nurturing environment for our child. He has thrived and become a very well rounded little boy in so many ways, his manners, confidence, creativity, healthy eating and so much more. Our child is very much ready for school and has been prepared excellently over the years. We cannot recommend Karin highly enough. A huge thank you to Karin for such a lovely start for our child.

If we had to chose a Childminder again, Karin would be top of our list!
As full time working parents we initially wanted our 11 months old daughter to go to the well rated local nursery. We were not so keen to leave her in the hands of a single carer (5 days a week for 10 hours each day) and even after our first encounter with Karin were not completely convinced this would be the perfect match... 3 years on Karin and her setting have become an invaluable piece of our family life enabling our happy and quietly confident little 4 years old girl to enthusiastically start school this month.
Karin has exceeded our expectations in providing way more socialising and developing opportunities (numerous play and art groups, educational visits) than we could have done and relevant parenting advice at times we needed them. A very lively, positive and disciplined atmosphere surrounds Karin's family house some of which trickled through to our home life through the regular communication (drop off and pick up chats, detailed diary, newsletters). I highly recommend parents to meet with Karin to see for themselves.
