My Summary

My Experience

I have worked for a variety of different families only leaving when the job has come to a natural end ie starting school!

I have nannied for both boys and girls,twins,newborns,larger families and smaller families and for families of children with physical additional needs ie cerebral palsy.

I have currently been with my family now for over 7 years full time and have just gone part time due to both of the children being at full time school. I have had a fantastic time both with the children and the parents who have now become part of our extended family and that relationship with the family will continue.

My duties at work include organising and carrying out fun activities with the children that are age appropriate, helping with homework and supporting them in ways that are needed, cooking and preparing meals for the children,organising activities such as swimming,tennis, ballet etc. Carrying out nursery duties ie changing the children's beds,cleaning their bedrooms, washing and ironing for the children,making appointments for the doctors,doing the school run and liasing with other agencies ie preschool.

I am currently working for a lovely family who have 2 children with additional needs.
The youngest has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and needs lots of physical help and physio.
The oldest also has additional needs due to a brain injury from birth.

My current duties are as above but also include helping and planning activities around physiotherapy and making it as fun as possible. I also liaise with the schools and undertake hospital appointments as and when needed.
Both children need a lot of support and I am loving being challenged and being taught so much from the parents and the children alike.


I'm also a very active sporty person who does crossfit 5 times a week and encourage the children that I look after to be as fit and healthy as they can be in a fun way x

My Qualifications

I am NNEB and NVQ level 3 qualified nanny with a current ofsted registration and paediatric first aid qualification.

I have also undertaken a diploma in child psychology through ics and have undertaken various training including lifeguarding for children with special needs during my time as a volunteer at the local hospice which is still ongoing.

I also carry nanny insurance through Morton Michael and have a clean driving licence with business class insurance.

I am a non smoker.

I am also fully ofsted registered and have just passed a inspection with flying colours!

I am also a bank care assistant at acorns children's hospice in Worcester and have gained a wealth of additional needs experience which is also ongoing.
