About Me

Hello mums and dads,

my name is Jitka and I’m a professional and experienced nanny. I have been a nanny over the past 18 years looking after children of all different ages from 3 months old babies to toddlers, school aged children and teenagers. I have an experience looking after triplets. It was a lot of fun and great experience! I worked as a mother's help at the beginning of my nanny career, then as a sole charge nanny, and in many nanny share positions - I am highly experienced in nanny sharing! Also I have worked in a mixed role of nanny/house keeper working independently ensuring a day to day smooth household operations while the kids were at school. Some of duties and tasks were keeping the house tidy, doing laundry, cooking for the family, running errands like dry cleaners, taking the car to the mechanics, going to the post office. I was overseeing small repairs in the house, finding the right tradesmen for the jobs, booking in gardener’s visits, paying the cleaner, booking in the girl’s dentist and orthodontist appointments, drinking the girls to their after school activities and appointments.

All of this has given me a lot of experience and allowed me to build up a great reservoir of resilience, patience and energy, which has resulted in a stable and comforting environment for the children I look after. I am warm, loving and caring nanny with interest in the child's development. I am skilled in cooking healthy meals, weaning, getting babies into a routine and setting boundaries within a comfortable authority. I believe that is a key to building a strong, trusting and loving relationship with the children. I'm honest, trustworthy and reliable. I’m a self-stater, outdoorsy, active nanny taking kids on outings, to the parks, activities, playgroups and organising play dates ensuring they get a plenty of fresh air and activities to expel their energy, and have little buddies to interact and play with. Happiness and safety of the children are always at my heart.


I have excellent checkable UK references, DBS check (I’m on the yearly DBS update service), first aid training. I have clean driving licence (I drive and I'm confident driving in London) and I am fully qualified holding CACHE Diploma Level 3 in Childcare. I have been Ofsted registered in the past, and would be happy to register again if the family should require so.
