Celma looked after our youngest for over 2 years and we couldn’t recommend her and the team enough. Every morning at drop off our pick up Eloise always had a huge smile on her face.
Celma and her team always had great activity’s planned and providing amazing food.
We found Celma and the team to communicate really well what they had done each day with a great follow up email each day.
Eloise still asks when she is going back to see Celma which is a true sign of how amazing her time was.

Our daughter attended Celma’s for almost 2 years and we have been so happy with her care. Celma is such a warm and welcoming person. Her setting and her assistants are wonderful and our daughter has been so happy there. I have always felt very comfortable dropping her off there knowing that she is in safe hands and will thoroughly enjoy her day. We have recently moved out of London, and are incredibly sad that are daughter has had to leave. I would highly recommended Celma, our next childminder has a lot to live up to!

My daughter Zae started with Celma when she was just over a year old. I was really nervous about the process but Celma and the girls could not have made it an easier transition. She coached me through every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure both Zae (and mama!) settled in well. Her communication and responsiveness is excellent. As others have mentioned I felt an immediate warmth and family atmosphere as soon as I first walked in and I knew it was the right place. The house is spacious and immaculate and the garden is so big and exciting for the kids. I love the care Celma takes around food and nutrition too, always giving the kids a vegetable based soup first to get their veggies in before moving on to the 'second plate', a genius tip I have now stolen! Thank you again Celma, i'm really sad we had to move away and very grateful for the time Zae had with you.

Our son has been with Celma for almost 3 years and we are really thankful for the love and care that Celma and her beautiful team has given to him. He is always joyful to start his day with them.
Very creative ideas and wonderful activities, a very safe and constructive environment.
Amazing food, healthy snacks.
Our son also enjoys the many arts and crafts that Celma does with the children as well as singing and dancing.
I highly recommend Celma to anyone who wants a loving, caring, stimulating environment for their child.

Celma and her amazing team have looked after both my daughters over the last 6 years. I cannot express how incredible they are. They are my girls’ second family, and have become good friends to me. The house is like a home from home. The children are so well cared for, but more than that - they are so loved there. Both of my girls loved it there - they spent their days painting, playing dress up, playing in the huge garden, learning about certain activities and topics and making great friends. The food is wonderful, and most importantly I trust all of the team implicitly. My children have moved into school now, but they both still pop there for the odd inset day and love it! I really cannot recommend Celma and her team highly enough!

Celma and her team looked after our daughter from when she was 10 months to 3 years! Celma and her team are so friendly, warm and welcoming. Our daughter took part in lots of creative activities and would bring home wonderful things she had made at Celma’s. Celma has a great set up with lots of toys and a fantastic garden - Celma would regularly send pictures of the children playing, having so much fun. Despite being a fussy eater at home, our daughter would eat everything at Celma’s!
One of the best things for me about Celma’s was that it was a homely childminder setting but with about 6-9 children so there was more opportunity to socialise and interact with other children, but still in small, safe environment. ALL the carers who were alongside Celma were absolutely fantastic.
We were very emotional to leave when it was time to start preschool.

We have been incredibly happy with the care Celma and her team have provided for our son Ellis. Ellis was with with Celma for over a year. We always found the day to day care and communication to be wonderful. We were always updated in person in the morning and afternoon, and via emails and texts. We received daily great communication about food, naps, nappy changes, daily activities and general well being. Celma always had time to talk through anything and often has lovely stories to share. Celma’s team are always very friendly and helpful, and together they all create a very nurturing, safe, warm environment.
We know Ellis received lots of love, fun, warmth and kind guidance at Celma’s. We were often sent photos and messages of him doing really fun activities around themes like shapes, colours, numbers. We knew Ellis was having a fun time, he loved the dancing, music and gymnastics. Celma’s set up is great and the garden is a wonderful space. Celma kept us well updated with the weekly activity plans and menus.
We have felt very confident in Celma to provide safe childcare and we have been kept incredibly well informed about everything.
Most importantly we knew Ellis was safe in a very warm, happy, loving environment where his individual needs are met. Celma and her team are wonderful!

My son stayed with Celma over 2 years, from when he could barely sit up to when he was ready to start preschool at 3 years old. Thanks to Celma and her wonderful carers Lucas is a confident, chatty and happy boy. It honestly felt like a second home for us and not once did we have tears in the morning- he was always very excited to start his day there and I know he received excellent care. Thank you so much :)

Our son has been at Celma’s for a year and is only leaving because we want to move him onto a larger nursery. Celma is fantastic at communicating (making her really easy to work with) and it’s clear that both she and everyone who works with her love all the children they look after.

Celma looked after our daughter Raine from she was 1, until she was 3 years old. We were devastated, as was our daughter when we left! Celma's has always been a home from home for us. Raine was very happy when she was there and consequently we were relieved she was in such a safe, fun, and caring environment.
Raine always come home with some new drawings, a mother's day card, song, or even some words in Portuguese. She met so many good friends there also and loved Celma and the childcare assistants.
When we were looking for childcare options it was important for us to find a homely environment, where we knew our daughter would be safe, happy and not blend into the background or be overlooked in a large setting. If you are looking for the same, then Celma's is exactly the place.

Our daughter Bruna has been with Celma and her team for the last year and we only have nice things to say about them. I could not have wished a better place for her to grow up. Celma and her assistsnts are like a family to us, with a lovely way of helping children growing up, in a very respectful and safe environment.
Out daughter has loved being there everyday and she has learnt a lot of new things, and I am convinced she's become a nice little girl because of that lovely childhood! It is a shame that now we've come back to our hometown and we cannot take them with us!!! I would highly and without any hesitation recomment this amazing childminder!

I was so worried about finding childcare for my daughter Isla but then I came across Celmas. Celmas is a home from home for Isla and I could not wish for a better setting and more loving childcare for her to be in... Celma and her assistsnts are like an extended family
and my daughter loves it there. As a mother after finding celmas I felt like such a weight was lifted when finding someone to look after my baby/now toddler. I can not recommend her care enough. Aside from the most important thing, I'm also extremely impressed with what my daughter has learnt this past 18months. I'm also pleased and thankful my previous fussy eater really enjoys and eats really well here.

Celma, Vanda and their amazing team of assistants have taken care of both our children, from 6 months to 3 years old. They have a wealth of childcare experience, are very professional and reassuring and take amazing care of babies and toddlers alike. The house is immaculately clean and the garden is well equipped. They organise activities outside and in local playgroups, and both our children have learnt an amazing number of songs and games and developed really well. It’s a very nurturing and stimulating environment and both children developed long term friendships.
Celma is very understanding and will always try her best to support and be flexible when needed. The whole team is warm and kind hearted and there is a real connection with the children.
We have always felt like our children are in the best possible care and the little ones loved it 😊.

My two eldest children went to celma as soon as I went back to work and loved it from the start. celma and vanda and all the assistants have been incredibly caring, open and encouraging with our children. I love how they take them to the park and playgroups. They do art in abundance and offer good routines and guidance to the children. We liked that they offered a 'large' childminder setting with a number of children for ours to play with but still with close personal bonds created with celma and vanda and their teams in a home environment. Would highly recommend.

My daughter was with Celma and her sister, Vanda, for 2.5 years. I was so pleased to find Celma's house when I was first looking - it's a friendly, spacious environment - bigger than many childminders but smaller than a full-on nursery. I was always confident that my daughter was well looked after and she made lots of little friends. The food is homemade and the team were accommodating and confident dealing with her various allergies. She's moved on to her bigger nursery now that she's bigger but we will all miss Celma's.

Celma and her team are amazing! My son was with her for nearly 3 years and sadly we moved to Bromley so had to say goodbye :( He was in day care one with Celma since very little and in day care two after he turned 2 and he loved both houses, all the activities and friendly environment, tasty and healthy food and we never had any problem or issue with him related to all the time he spent there.
His development has been great and it is amazing the things he learnt while there. Lots of good habits and manners and a family friendly environment provided meant we wished he would never leave.
We definitely recommend Celma, I always felt I could trust her and her assistantes while at work, and that is what every parents want!
So sad we have to leave:(

We were put in touch with Celma through a friend and liked her setting and personality instantly. Unlike other settings we had visited, Celma provides a loving, caring, stimulating and clean environment. Having met Celma and toured her home I felt very reassured about the level of care the children receive there. She has excellent routines in place such as washing hands before meals as well as brushing teeth after meals and a lovely garden where the children can play and enjoy the good weather. Celma (and her staff) are very friendly, fair and realistic in their approach to childcare. The staff took great care to help settle our baby boy into their environment and he took to them instantaneously (which made my return to work so much easier). Our son thoroughly enjoyed his time at Celma’s and was very happy there. I would absolutely recommend Celma as a childminder.

My daughter was with Celma and her team for over two years and was so well looked after.
She provides a fantastic ,safe and stimulating environment for the children and they also take them out to the park and playgroups.
Aisha made lots of friends there and formed great relationships with the adults. We only left because I was on maternity leave , but we were very happy there. 100% recommend!

My daughter was in Celma’s care for over 2 years and I highly recommend her.
It is the perfect environment between a nursery and a childminder so Leah made a lot of little friends that she looked forward to seeing every morning.
Celma works with a fantastic team of people. They all are enthusiastic and look after the children very well. Activities are organised around themes. Leah has learnt so much there. Food is home-made, healthy and varied.
It is incredibly important to be able to go to work knowing that your child is happy, comfortable and in good hands and this is exactly what Celma provides: peace of mind! We will miss her and her team.

Celma provides a very caring environment which provides the best of a childminding and nursery setting. Because Celma has assistants, some of whom are her family, she has more children than a regular childminder and this means the children have lots of playmates and can learn from each other, but because the setting is a house there is a lovely space and family like atmosphere with home cooked meals.
Our first child started with Celma at 13months and settled in well even though he had nervous parents(!) and he is now a bright, funny, sporty 3.5 year old. We have Celma and her team to thank for helping raise him so well.

Celma had my son from the age of 10 months until just before he turned 4!
I struggled to justify removing him from her care as her care was so good and to such a high standard. It was like being in a nursery for him without the extortionate fees!!
We've moved on to a nursery and my Son still asks to stop by and see Celma and the rest of the team!... No words can ever clearly express how grateful I am to Celma for the world class care that she provided my son.
And the freshly cooked food and weekly menus sent to the parents made it easy to see what our kids were being fed and understand why some foods all of a sudden would become certain faveourites!!...

Celma and her team have created a brilliant environment for little ones. Her house and garden are well equipped and the children do lots of activities outdoors which was a big plus for us. It is a lively environment, and the assistants work really hard and make sure the children have fun. Fresh and healthy food is prepared each morning.I was nervous to leave my son anywhere to return to work when he was one years old, but Celma helped the transition for all of us run smoothly. Highly recommend her services, she is great fun and cares so much about what she does, which is so important when doing this job.

My son was with Celma and her assistants from age one until shortly after his second birthday. He would still be there now save for the fact that we moved out of the area. He settled in really well to the warm and friendly environment and we happily left our son with Celma and her assistants safe in the knowledge he was in good hands. Highly recommended!

My daughter was with Celma and her assistants for just over a year (and would have stayed longer had we not relocated). She had such an amazing time there. She was always happy to go and happy when we collected her. I could tell that she learnt a lot, and she really thrived in Celma's care.
There were always lots of different activities going on at Celma's house, and the playrooms and garden are well-equipped, organised and clean. When the weather allowed they would be outside in the garden or one of the nearby parks. There are more children than you would find with some childminders, which meant that our daughter made lots of friends and became very sociable and confident in the company of other children. But at Celma's there is the one-on-one attention, flexibility and home from home environment some nurseries might lack.
All in all, I am so happy we found Celma to take care of our daughter. It couldn't have been better and we were very lucky.

Celma and her assistants at Learn Playing have been looking after my 14 month old son since I returned to work a few months ago and I have been more than happy with the quality of the care provided.
My son settled in very quickly and within a few weeks was very comfortable in the home from home environment Celma provides. He loves going every day and is really thriving in the care of Celma and her team.
Celma and her assistants take the children to local playgroups and parks most days and there are many other babies for him to interact which he really enjoys. The environment is clean, organised, safe and but also fun and relaxed.
Celma and her team are all genuinely very caring towards the children and always find time at the end of the day to let me know how my son has been and what he has been up to that day. I feel lucky to have found Celma and happy that I have found a safe, nurturing environment where I can leave my little boy knowing he will be well cared for.
I would highly recommend Celma and her team at Learn Playing to anyone looking for a childminder in the Crystal Palace area.

Celma and her assistants have been looking after our little man brilliantly, and we are very happy we found her. She is completely reliable, and our boy loves going there - in fact 'elma' is one of the few words he can say! My 11 month old daughter has been with Celma 3 days a week for about 6 weeks now and she already really enjoys her days and is learning so much. I was nervous about returning to work, but Celma made it easy. She is great at reassuring me by sending me messages in the day to let me know how my daughter is getting on.
I knew when I first visited Celma that it was the right place for me daughter. The house is very clean and well organised, and most of the house (and garden) are used, so the children are not cooped up in one room. The babies have a lovely play room and then a separate room with cots in it for naps. They all seem very comfortable and at home in the house.
Celma has 3 assistants working with her. All of them are friendly, fun and excellent with the children. They are all caring towards the children and clearly love working with them. Celma and her assistants are all full of energy too, and they go out every day on visits to the park or playgroup. Celma makes a home-cooked lunch every day, and there are plenty of healthy snacks for the children.
Because Celma has assistants working with her she is able to take care of more children than some childminders, so they get to socialise with lots of other children, while also having the benefit of lots of one-on-one attention and personalised care. This is a very happy and nurturing environment and I would definitely recommend Celma to anyone looking for a childminder in the area.

We found Celma through childcare.co.uk, we were very impressed with her CV and when we meet her we felt that she was the right person to take care of our LO.
We are very happy with the work Celma does and our daughter seems very happy to be at Learn Playing with her friends and carers.
Celma is also very easygoing (always receiving you with a smile) and understanding which is just what you need when you are rushing to get to work or from work.
Everyone at Learn Playing is very kind, loving and happy. It is a great environment to leave your child every day. We trust them with the most precious thing we have and feel very happy we can trust them this much.

I have 17 month old son and he has been with Celma for 5 months. Before I returned to my work full time, it was very important for me to find a good child-minder and I was very lucky to meet Celma. She is really good with all kids/babies at her place and I am very impressed with her skill. My son spend 10 hours with Celma from Monday to Friday and he loves Cemla already. There are many nurseries/child-minders in the area, however I think she is the best child-minder in the area. I have seen so many places before I choose Celma and I recommend to anybody who are looing for a good child-minder. If you are looking for a child-minder, it is worth checking her out!!

My son Raphael (2.5years) has been looked after by Celma twice weekly since June 2012. I was lucky to have had Celma recommended to me by a close friend of mine. Anyone who has looked after 2 sets of triplets has to be good at looking after children. Celma is very passionate about her job and really enjoys it. She is full of energy, fun, and organised which is needed to look after kids all day.
I live in Crystal Palace and went to see a number of nurseries in the area. I felt at as my son was 2 years old they weren't able to give him the 1:1 care I was looking for or the flexibility with childcare.
Celma has a lovely clean house which is easy to get to and there is always a parking space outside. On the first day, Raphy immediately ran into the front room and started to play. Her front room is sunny and brightly decorated and filled with a variety of toys, books, and craft items. Since he has been with Celma he has made friends with the other children she looks after, learnt to set the table for lunch, washes his hands before eating, and tidies up after play time. He eats breakfast there and a home cooked lunch. There are always plenty of healthy snacks, such as fruit, for him to eat. If I needed Celma to look after him an extra day or morning this can be arranged. She organises art and crafts for them to do, he has been on occasional outings to the Horniman Museum, Science Museum and even been to see a kids movie in the cinema. When the weather is good they always go out to a park and when it rains they visit play groups or the library. Celma also has a garden he plays in.
Celma lets me know what Raphy has been up to and keeps all his art work in a folder for me to collect. I made the best decision putting him with her instead of a nursery. He often comes home singing a new song or tells me a story of what he did that day with the other children.
I feel that I am very fortunate to have had Celma recommended to me. Raphy is very happy to be there (and often doesn't want to leave!). Can't recommend her highly enough. A wonderful childminder.
