Highly recommend

I have a 14 month old boy William and Georgia has been childminding him since October 2016. As a first time mum I was extremely nervous about leaving William with anyone. I visited a lot of childminders before I met Georgia but I felt totally at ease when I met her. Georgia is very professional but at the same time warm and understanding. William has settled in so well at Georgias home and is always smiling when I pick him up. Georgia is very focused on Williams development but at the same time let's him be a child and have fun.
I find Georgia extremely flexible which is a great help to me as a full time working mum.
I would highly recommend Georgia

Glad I found her

I found georgie through this website. She was quick to reply to my messages and within no time at all I was over her house talking about childcare options! She is polite and accommodating to my every need. My 9 yr old son loves her and loves being there (it's a bit of a struggle getting him to leave) I wish I had found georgie sooner. She is kind and easy to get on with. She is always there if I need something for myself as well as my son. Couldn't recommend her enough!

Delightful fun loving home environment

My son has been under the care of Georgie for the last academic year and I and my husband are delighted with the care she has provided for him. She has been reliable and prompt collecting him twice a week from St Walburgas. She has accepted him into her fun loving home like one of her own providing him with healthy snacks and more recently dinners and arranging fun activities for him and the others to do. Georgie has also been flexible on the odd occasion allowing me to swap days that she has him which I have appreciated immensely. The school holidays are about commence and he will miss Georgie for the 6 weeks and we look forward to her continuing his care in September.

unreliable

I used this childminder and her sister for my 2 children recently, but it didnt work out as I did not find them forthcoming, professional or reliable. I was unable to advise on the care of my children as per their routine, as they responded with attitude, and no suggestions were well received.Despite giving the 4 weeks notice as per contract, she decided after 2 weeks on a Monday night at 5 pm that she wasnt going to look after them anymore and work the notice. This left me in dire staits as me and my husband work fulltime and had no childcare for the next day, and indeed the next 2 weeks. Despite our differences im sure anyone would agree this is an awful thing to do, and unfair on our children as well as us. They seem to be in it just for the money, and thats not the kind of people I want looking after my children. For someone running a business, I found their whole behaviour unprofessional and aggressive. So definetely no reccommendation from us.

To every story are two sides. There were differences from both sides and I thought the best thing would be to end the contract immediately to prevent any unnecessary arguements that I felt may have arisen if I had continued the care, I also did not think this was fair for any of the children in my care at the time. Also coming to me as you was not happy with previous childcare provider and in the end not happy with us I suggested that a nanny maybe more suitable. I had your childrens best interest at heart, which you also stated in a letter to me saying that the children were very happy and settled in our care. I think it was a shame that we could not work out the differences.
