My Experience

i love my job, i enjoy working with children of all age groups watching them grow and develope into young independant people, , i have been childminding for 35years i started doing it to allow my daughter to have company and a bit extra money,i have experience of all agegroups, new born up to 1st at high school, i am scout leader which is enjoyable and challenging, i take the children outdoors to various parks in edinburgh, local toddler groups, i have a veriety of activities for the children from rattles, games, learning and exploring toys, art/craft activities, baking all depending on the age range of the children,
I have a large enclosed garden. and various outdoor toys, bikes seesaw etc.
my carecommison report and gradings are available on request,
I do training courses keeping me uptodate with all aspects of childminding and legilstations.i am also in partnership with Edinburgh Council early years education. We do lots of outdoor activities visit parks woods zoo.

My Qualifications

I have a 1st aid certificate, city and guilds childcare and early education, i ahave worked up to S V Q level 3
i do extra training through the social work department on babies, nutrition,challenging behavour, as examples but do cover a range of topics to improve and update my knowledge. I have the enviromental health hygiene certificate. I completed virtual nature school cohort 4 certificate

My Availability

I am available from 8 am in the morning monday to friday, till 5pm later if needed monday to Friday
I take and collect from Carrick Knowe Primary school

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.00 per hour
