About Me
I am a teaching assistant in a primary school and I also tutor students for 11+ exams.
I am looking for a summer nanny job and I’m happy to tutor as well.
I work in a special needs school in Hounslow and therefore I have a significant amount of experience with SEN children.

I am honest, reliable and pasionate about children’s education. I possess a high level of communication and organisational skills. I am very tidy. I am a brilliant cook. I used to be a chef.
I have a degree in Early Childhood from the University of Roehampton and an MA in Children’s Literature. I am also planning to publish some of my writing (eventually!)which was competed as part of my Creative Dissertation.
I speak fluent English and Romanian, and advanced French, as well as conversational Spanish.
I have an excellent sense of humour, and I maintain a cool temperament under pressure.
I am a very creative person, and my hobbies include reading, dancing, baking and participating in amateur dramatic productions to raise money for local charities.I also enjoy nature and wildlife photography.

Mel has been with our family since March and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
She has had sole charge of our three boys (aged 8,6 and 2) three days a week and has been unfailingly reliable, positive, honest and cheerful. She arrives every day with a smile and the boys are always happy to see her. She manages the (fairly complicated) diary of pick-ups, playdates, after school activities with ease and always keeps on top of the domestic duties. During holidays and half-terms she has been proactive about finding activities do to – museums, picnics, parks. She has built up good relationships with all the children and particularly with our youngest, who she spends the most time with – she has found a wealth of local activities and playgroups to take him to and they love going to the library together to find new books and do Rhyme Time; he has flourished in her care.
We are extremely sad to be finishing our time with Mel, we are doing so only because I have decided to take a career break so we no longer need a nanny.
Melania has helped us out on several occasions and on each she has been reliable, kind, compassionate and demonstrated her experience and love of children.
Mel is an amazing nanny, she’s been with us for over six months and has been instrumental in caring for our daughter. She’s gentle, kind and loving. I feel very confident when leaving that my daughter is in good hands. Mel helps around the house, very tidy and cooks healthy meals for her. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking care.
