About Me
My name is Deborah and I am 33 years old. I live with my husband called Steven who is 34 years old and he is a builder; together we have three children Lillie, Jacob, Henry. We also have a cat called Guss that we have had since 2014 and a dog called Miley who was born in January 2023.
I was previously a childminder from 2016 to 2020 and from 2018 I was childminding alongside working at Lidl in Clifton.
In 2020 I completely stopped childminding as I loved my job at Lidl and wanted to carry on up the ladder towards being a store manager.
However after having Henry, my own childminder decided to give up childminding to work in a school and so I had no care for my older children before and after school so I decided to cut my hours down at Lidl and step down as a manager to go back to childminding so I am able to look after my own children as well as others. I do still work at Lidl on the weekends.
In September 2022 I opened up a play group called Crazy Tots Playgroup which is held in the Dovecote Primary School Sports Hall, this is a separate building to the actual school.
My Experience
I was previously a childminder from 2016 to 2020, I worked with disabled children from 2014 to 2016 also.
I also run a play group in Clifton on a Tuesday morning
I am first aid trained, DBS checked along with my husband and registered with Ofsted.
I do regular monthly training on different web based sites to further my knowledge and training.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
Monday to Friday - 7am to 6.30pm - £5.50 per hour
Monday to Friday - 6.30pm to 9pm - £9 per hour
Daily fee of £45 (8 hours to be used between 7am and 6.30pm, over 8hours hourly charges apply)
School drop off rate is a minimum of one hour is charged
After school collection rate is a minimum of one hour charged
If you only require a few days childcare such as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday you would be charged for the entire week as I would be unable to fill the other day.
This is the same for before and after school places as your child would take up a space and so each day would need to be paid for even if they do not attend.
Breakfast will be provided however the child must arrive in the morning before 7.50am. Dinner or an evening snack will be provided depending on what time the child is in my care to.
Fees should be paid weekly on a Friday; alternative payment options are available if required.
If paying monthly an invoice will be sent through your baby day’s portal and is to be paid on the last day of the month, unless an alternative date has been arranged due to receiving universal credits. This should be paid within 24hours to avoid late fees being applied.

Once payments are received, I can issue a receipt if required.
At present if I am on holiday or off sick no payment is required however if the child is on holiday or of sick full payment will be required, unless this is a pre-arranged absence such as
More than 1 month’s notice = no fee.
Less than 1 month’s notice = full fee.

From April 2024 I will be changing my pricing for before and after school children that require holiday cover. This will be worked out in advance from April to September and then October to March. The amount of childcare costs will be divided by weeks if paying weekly or months if paying monthly. Each half of the year will have 3 weeks which are not charged for to cover any closed days such as my holiday’s, training and any sick days I need to take off. If children are off sick or going on holiday their places will still require paying for, however the new pricing works out that they also get 6 weeks a year with no fees for holidays and illness already worked into the pricing.
I do accept funding for 2, 3 and 4 years childcare places however food and snacks will need to be provided each day by parents/carers alternatively you will be charged £4 a day to cover any food costs. This is to be paid weekly on a Friday and will be invoiced for on your babyday’s portal
full fees can be seen in my welcome pack, which I can post out or email on request. I use the baby days system for all accounting and learning tracking so parents always have access to relevant information

You always want to find the right childminder for you, to look after you children and know they are in a safe and happy environment. I have 2 boys aged 6 and 3 (nearly 4). They have been going to Tiny Tots childcare since July 2023 in the school holiday. From the first time we met Deborah at her home visit she made us feel so welcome providing all the necessary safe guarding paper work, qualifications and policy's she has in place.
Its like a home from home for the boys they absolutely love it. They go out everyday weather that's to the park, for a walk or to the allotments, days out to the farm. I get updates with photos which is always lovely to see and Deborah always keeps you informed with activities they will be doing ect so you can always make sure you childs got things they need like wellies if needed or waterproofs ect.
I'm so glad I found Tiny Tots Childcare, Deborah you are amazing thank you for looking after my boys they love spending time with you.
