About Me
I live with my husband in a small village near the sea. I am a registered childminder with Ofsted and have been childminding for 18 years and can care for up to 6 children aged from 3 months to 8 years and older if required.
We attend lots of groups during the week from childminder group to a singing group and the library etc. We go on walks to the forest, beach and also local to home.
I aim to provide a home from home where the children can grow and develop in a happy, activity enriched environment.
My Experience
Before I started childminding I was deputy manager of a small day nursery, I did this for 10 years.
My Qualifications
I hold a level 4 in early years care and education, first aid level 2, food hygiene level 2, safeguarding children level 3.
I attend regular short course training which is provided by Dorset County Council which include behaviour management, Senco, practical inclusion ect.

- Childminding from £5.25 per hour
My daily rate is £50.00 (under 2) and £47.00 (over 2).

Sue has been my son's childminder since October 2017, when he was only five months old, and we couldn't be happier. He looks forward to seeing her every day, as she provides a welcoming, active environment for him, where he thrives as a person realising his own identity. She provides a varied schedule of activities, is openly communicative to us about his development, and has earned our – and our son's – complete trust every day. She genuinely cares about him too, and that personal investment hasn't gone unnoticed.
Overall
Sue is a wonderful childminder. She has an amazing way of making the children (and parents) feel at ease. Ciaran's confidence and communication skills have flourished and he is always so happy to go to Sue's everyday. They have a huge variety of experiences from soft play to animal parks. But the most refreshing thing is her understanding and flexibility - she always goes out of her way to accommodate you and to help in any way she can!
