About Me
I love working with children and have been a childminder for 18 years, however I have decided to become a nanny. I love taking the children outside, whatever the weather, but also always ideas for rainy days. NVQ 3 in childcare, various training (most important 18 years of experience), full driving licence, DBS, insurance, first aid.
I was born in France and came in UK in 1991 as an Au Pair and was looking after 3 children. This was supposed to be for one year however I decided to stay in UK where I have been working since as a senior PA.
I stopped working as a PA after the birth of my daughter in December 2005 and as I am really enjoying motherhood and spending time with all her little friends I have decided to become a childminder until August 2024.
I am a very out going person and like to spend a lot of time with the children doing activities (inside or outside). With the authorisation of the parents, I will take the children to various activities( music, gym). All documentation (registration / liability insurance, ect..) will be shown to you on your visit.
My Experience
I have been childminding for the past 18 years and have decided to stop the business to become a nanny.
I have been childminding up to six children from 9 months old till 9 years old however no more than 3 under 5 years old at once to provide the best childcare.

I have not used Ginny's childminding services, but we approached Ginny during our search for childcare during lockdown and I wanted to write a review of our experience of learning about her setup. I communicated with Ginny through the app and she always wrote back quickly and with all the useful information needed. She was always friendly and very understanding during my pauses in my search when other events took my attention, and went out of her way to take and send photos of her space during lockdown. When restrictions eased and we met Ginny and her family we were equally impressed and she made us and our baby feel very welcomed. She has a lovely home, which was spotless and well organised, and a pretty garden too. After much thought we decided to explore the possibility of getting a nanny, but will definitely contact Ginny again if we are looking for a childminder in the future.
