Jennie has been looking after my daughter for 18 month, from the age of 1 to 2 and a half. My daughter has developed incredibly due in great part to Jennies attentive care, guidance and support. As well as helping my daughter to develop physically and mentally, Jennie also strives to provide a fun and enriching experience for the children in her care. Most days bring a new adventure, with walks, park visits and spending time in nature a staple of their day. Above all, I know my daughter is safe and (very!) happy when she spends time with Jennie and her friends in the setting, and it’s very clear that Jennie cares deeply for the children she looks after. I genuinely couldn’t ask for more and I’m incredibly grateful that we found Jennie!

Jennie has been minding for my 3 year old for 18 months now and also picks up my school aged son at 3pm. We do not trust many people at all to look after our boys but we feel very safe with them at Jennie’s! She is friendly, professional and has really bonded with my boys. We chose Jennie because she takes the children out everyday on a fun adventure which they absolutely love, while making the most of where we live and giving them lots of great memories! Jennie also provides daily photos of their adventures so we get to see what they’ve been up to! Highly recommended!

Jennie has been a wonderful support to Marcie since she had just turned two and had really struggled settling at nursery.
It was a great relief to find Jennie, who understands Marcie’s needs and has enabled her to feel safe and come out of her shell.
Marcie’s language has come on leaps and bounds and she always refers to Jennie as “my Jennie”. A great compliment as Marcie does not always like everybody .
Thank you for providing Marcie with the best start in life I could have wished for, it’s a great shame she can’t stay with you till she’s 16!!
A huge thank you for being you Jennie.

Jennie took on my little man kiefer from the age of 6 months. He has come on leaps and bounds whilst being with jennie. He loves the outings to the farm and the beach and the park. Jennie provides a safe enviroment for the children and and does so many different activities come rain or shine. Being able to see what he is up to on a daily basis with photos of his adventures I couldn’t ask for anymore. He comes home tired everyday from doing so much. Jennie is very professional and is very easy to talk to and get along with. She is also very accommodating when it comes to kiefers needs and his routine changes I cant sing her praises enough! Jennie will continue to have my son until he goes to school, I wouldn’t have it any other way! Xx thank you jennie! Xx

Jennie has been minding my 2 year old daughter since she was 10 months old and she has really thrived in Jennie’s care. Jennie’s home is very welcoming and Isla is always so excited to go to Jennie’s house.
Jennie is very patient and gives me lots of help and advice when dealing with my daughters temper tantrums. Isla is not labelled as ‘naughty’ toddler and Jennie helps her to find ways to deal with her emotions.
Jennie always takes the children on wonderful adventures, no two days are the same. Isla loves the fun days out and day at home baking and arts & crafts.
I feel calm and confident leaving my daughter in Jennie’s care, she made returning to work so much easier knowing that she is being well looked after, nurtured and loved. I can not recommend Jennie highly enough, she offers above and beyond my expectations, she’s wonderful!

When we started using Jennie our son (2yrs old) was going through a number of significant transitions, including the imminent arrival of a new brother and a change in childcare providers. After having a previous bad experience with a childminder, where our son was labelled as the ‘naughty one’, we were dubious to try another childminder. However Jennie has really helped our son to turn a corner with his behaviour and has maintained an empathic and open minded stance which has really helped him feel positive about himself. She has excellent observational skills and knowledge of child development which really helped to set age appropriate expectations and goals. She is kind and caring however doesn’t take any nonsense, and this worked really well for him.
He has really settled in well in this setting and we are confident that he is well cared for, challenged and stimulated. Most childminders tell you they take their children out everyday (actually meaning they take them out to the garden or on a walk around the block), however Jennie is a rare gem who is willing to take them on exciting day trips everyday whether that be going to the park, play group, farmer palmers or the beach. If your child, like mine, is active and needs mental stimulation then this is the setting for you. He has developed a lovely bond with Nana and Jennie and always looks forward to his days there.

I am so grateful to Jennie and her family for the welcoming, caring and warm environment they provide for my daughter who is now nearly 2.5 and has been going to Jennie's since I returned to work when she was 11 months old. I can't imagine many more difficult decisions than deciding who to trust with the most precious person in your life... but after meeting with several other providers, I knew instantly that Jennie was the right choice for us and have never once regretted our decision.
What first struck me was how attentive she was to the children and how relaxed, confident and affectionate they were towards her - they all clearly felt so secure in her care! With Jennie's support, my daughter settled in quickly, making my return to work so much easier and leaving me confident that she would be having so much fun in my absence! Jennie is always taking the kids out for trips and adventures, inspiring their curiosity and creativity, and encouraging them to learn and develop personally, socially and intellectually. I am continually amazed at the wonderful things my daughter has experienced and learned whilst with Jennie, Nana and the other children. She is always described as a wonderfully spirited, self-assured and bright little girl and this, in many ways, is thanks to the fantastic care she recieves at Jennie's. She has also developed really lovely relationships with the other children at and I feel she has really benefited from spending time with a range of ages.
I can tell that my daughter is truly treasured in Jennie's care and can think of no greater comfort for a parent - thank you Jennie, Nana and everyone else for giving my little girl a home from home and many many memories to treasure for the future!

My son has been going to Jennie house for nearly 2 years. He loves spending time with Jennie & nana. He initially went to nursery 2 days per week & Jennie 2 days, however he never really settled & nursery & always asked to go to Jennies, so now he does.
They have so much fun & he gets to do things & go to places that a full time working mum doesn't have the opportunity to do with their children.
Toddler groups, farmer palmers, jiggy wrigglers, skate parks & so much more.
The environment is safe, friendly & welcoming not to mention fun. Jenson is always bringing home artwork & models that he's made & he so proud of his achievements.
Jennie is accommodating and always helps when I need extra hours. My elder son who is at courthill also goes to Jennie after school & in the holidays a few days per week & thoroughly enjoys it.

So I last posted 3 years ago! How time flies, Florence was then 10months old and is now nearly 4! We have had 3 wonderful years with Jennie, Jennies setting really is a home from home, the children and parents feel so relaxed and happy there, this home from home feeling is created firstly by Jennie and her wonderful personal care she offers, however is also enhanced by the fact that my children get to spend time with Jennies lovely children James and Danielle and they also benefit from Nanas care and attention, they really are very lucky children. I say children as every school holiday and when required after school my Son Finn also attends Jennies, Finn is 7.5 and at middle school, even with the age difference he also thrives at Jennies as he gets to spend time with other older siblings plus James. I love this arrangement that Jennie offers as it gives me complete piece of mind that my children are together happy and well cared for. Jennie also ensures that everyday the children have an activity, this maybe a farm visit, a trip to messy play etc this stimulates the children, gets them out and about and also helps with them mixing with larger groups of children. Jennie also does a lot of work now getting Florence ready for school so her transition there both from a socialable and learning point of view will be as seamless as possible, plus she will still be back with Jennie each half term for her holiday cover :) Jennies service is invaluable and cannot be compared to other childcare (I have experienced other childminders and nurserys) everything Jennie offers is to such a high standard she is the best. We thank her for everything she does for us (even the little chats with mum at drop off when I'm having a bad day, she cheers me up!) xxx

Jennie has been looking after my 2 1/2 year old since April 2017 and my 10 month old since Sept 2017. They both absolutely adore Jennie, and her mum Linda (or 'Nanna' as all the children call her), who works as Jennie's assistant. I can honestly say that I cannot fault Jennie's services in any way at all.
Every day the children partake in amazingly fun and life-enhancing experiences; playgroups, Blue Pool, Farmer Palmers, beach trips, soft play, bus trips to Swanage, crabbing in Mudeford, woodland walks, park trips, splashing in paddling pools, Jiggy Wrigglers, Lizzie Bee Toddlers, arts and crafts, 'water' kitchen, planting and growing things... and much, much, more! Jennie puts everything into ensuring that all the children have fun and varied experiences that teach them valuable life skills.
Jennie is also fantastic at encouraging friendship between all the children and developing skills such as sharing and creative play together, as well as teaching them how to be polite and courteous - my 2 1/2 year old has come on leaps and bounds in developing her behavioural skills and attitude in the six months she has been with Jennie.
I was initially worried how my 10 month old would fit in with the older children but she has been fully accepted as 'one of the gang' and despite an age difference of a couple of years Jennie makes sure she is fully included with all of the activities and is welcomed and played with by the other children, as well as catering for her more specific needs such as naps and bottles, and plenty of cuddles!

I have used Jennie's fantastic services for a combined total of 11 years, for both of my children and can honestly say they both love her and I was able to work knowing that they were in a safe and loving environment!
My eldest daughter started going to Jennie's when she was 5 for after school and holidays, she only stopped when she moved up to high school (although I think she would have been more than happy to continue!!)
My youngest daughter started when she was nearly 2 (Jennie was full when I first went back to work, but as soon as she had a space I jumped in and filled it!!)
The level of care and attention she gives to her children is amazing!! They are really made to feel like part of the family. She does lots learning based play too, so when Isabel started school she was fully prepared both academically and emotionally.
I think the biggest testament I can say though, is that if I was to have another child, Jennie is where I would look to first for my childcare needs!!
Thank you for everything you have done with my girls and all that you do with all the children in your care - you are the best!! Xx

Jennie is amazing with children and mums. She has looked after my little boy since he was 8 months old and he loves it at her house. She does lots of different activities with him and often sends him home with things he has made. She is really flexible when I need extra help and got me out of a massive hole when my previous child minder left me down a week before I went back to work. She couldn't have been nicer and I will always be greatf to her. I can go to work much happier knowing my boy is safe with Jennie. Highly recommended.

Thank you Genna for your lovely words xx
Jennie cares for my 10month old daughter, I have extremely high standards and this concerned me as I was worried I would not feel that someone else would care for my precious baby in the same way I do. However Jennie exceeds my expectations, she is so warming and lovely with Florence, she shows love and care towards her and also injects fun and structure to her day. Jennie ensures she does a mixture of activities with Florence and also provides me a daily diary to summarise every important aspect of Florence's day. Jennie has 2 lovely children and I have also met her mother and husband, it's great to know that Florence is in such a lovely environment, Jennies family home, as it is home from home for Florence. I can trust jennie to take brilliant care for my baby girl and this is the most important thing you can ask for.
