About Me
Hi my name is Hanna, I am an ofsted registered child minder.
I live in Low Moor with my 3 children, my husband Andrew , and our 2 dogs.
I offer childcare for preschool children at my home in Low Moor.
I also offer the early years education places, which is free 15/30 hours childcare per week for 38 weeks of the year, for 3 and 4 year olds and some 2 year old children.
I have an open plan kitchen/dining area which serves as my playroom throughout the day. It is fully equipped with toys and equipment for children of all ages and stages. My outdoor area is vast with a varied range of activities and terrains for children to enjoy themselves. It is all enclosed securely and private, it includes and flagged area for bikes/trikes/football etc, a decked terrace, a large lawn for running around, a playground with swings and slide with safety flooring, and a double story wooden play house hidden away at the bottom of the garden.

My Experience
As a child, my mother was a childminder for many years, so there were always children around. I always looked forward to the school holidays so that I could be at home with all the other children. I chose to complete a Child development GCSE as a teenager, which I thoroughly enjoyed and received an A grade for. I met my stepdaughter when she was 4 years old and have had the privilege of seeing her grow into an intelligent 10 year old. My daughter was born in January 2011, I had a 10 month maternity leave to be able to stay at home and care for her. Sadly I had to return to work, but would have loved to care for her daily, which I now have the opportunity to do working from home.
I have worked as a childminder since June 2013, and have gained valuable experience having been full since opening. I have experience with newborns up to school attending children, also have gained some knowledge in caring for children with health conditions. I had my second child in January 2016 and really enjoyed having a newborn around again, even though it is tough.

Hanna is an excellent childcare provider who I can strongly recommend to parents considering childcare for their child/children. My children aged 3 and 1 years old attended Hanna's childcare setting from being a few months old, with my eldest attending until he was over 3 years old.
Hanna has provided outstanding high quality care to my children in a family home environment that is tailored for children and their developing needs. The garden is amazing with a children's play activity area, and I would often say my little boy would be happy playing on it all day!
The environment is very clean and tidy and has a vast array of children's resources from educational books, toys, and crafts. Hanna would regularly bake with the children, perform crafts with the children, or have educational visits to Eureka or local play gyms.
Hanna has being very supportive and helpful to facilitate my children's attending hours, which had the potential to change with my weekly district nursing work hours.
My children received a nutritional meal every day (in fact most days my little boy wanted to have breakfast at Hanna's house, or often tried to get two breakfasts one at both our houses!)
I was fully informed and updated of my children's progress and received beautiful development portfolios for each child at regular intervals, which were personalised, while fulfilling the objectives of development progression against the national standards.
Hanna's Childcare is exceptional value for money. The setting is OFSTED registered and Hanna is registered as a Childminder with Pacey, as well as been trained in emergency first aid.
It is evident my children have thrived under Hanna's care and I could not have asked for anyone better to care for my children. I will always be appreciative of the care she has given not only to my children, but the support to me as a parent.
