About Me
I am married with 3 and I am originally from South Africa and have been living in the UK since 1999. I enjoy working with children and watching them grow and enjoy new experiences. For more information and to see photos of the setting please view my website
My Experience
I am Ofsted registered and I am a member of Pacey. I have been childminding since 2001 . I have 2 assistants that work with me and the setting is run from 2 log cabins at the bottom of my property. We have our own garden area which consists of a large deck, partially undercover and an area of grass.
My Qualifications
I have completed a Diploma in home based Childcare. I hold certificates for paediatric First Aid and Child Protection and these are updated every 3 years.
My Availability
We take children from any age .We pick up from Chevening primary, Riverhead infants and St Johns . We also pick up from Preschools but as this is always changing depending on where the current children go.
We are open from 7:30 - 6:30 Monday
We accept children using 15 hours, 30 hours and free for 2 funding.
We can take children term time only but can also do holidays.

My daughter went to cabin kids for 2 years and loved every minute. She started there a shy 2 year old and left so confident. I would recommend them to anyone!

Our 2 year old daughter has been looked after by Carmen and Michelle for the past 9 months. We have been very happy with the care that they provide - they really seem to genuinely care about their mindees. They are organised, and have always been reliable and approachable.
Highly recommended.

Overall
Our son has been going to Carmen & Michelle 2 days a week for the past 2 years. We could not be happier with the standard of care that he receives there, and he loves it too because he refers to Carmen & Michelle as his best friends. The really great aspect about Carmen & Michelle's childminding service is the homely / family environment, including 3 generations of the family. Would definitely recommend - highly.
