About Me
I am a mum of two teenagers one of 19 and one 16 as well as a childminder. I started childminding in 2005 when my son was 6 months old. I havent looked back and thoroughly enjoy my job. I have always loved arts and crafts so i like to pass that on to the children, if its something they enjoy. I Like to go for walks and love listening to music, when i get the time that is!
I have always enjoyed working with children and i knew from a very early age it was what i wanted to do. in total so far I have worked in childcare for over 20 years.
My Experience
I first worked in a Nursery on the parade in Bracklesham for a year and then went to work at First Steps Nursery at Chichester College for 5 yrs at least 2 of thoses years i was a Senior Nursery Nurse in Step 2. I left as i knew i wanted children and didnt want them to be looked after by someone else whilst I looked after other children so now I get the best of both worlds.
Once i fell pregnant i started looking into becoming a childminder and when my son was 6 months I was able to start. Both my children enjoy the fact im a childminder as they have plenty of friends to play with before and after school.
My Qualifications
Iwent to college when i finished school to do a child care course but later on it was only seen as a level 2 so once i started working at First Steps I was able to do the NVQ level 3 in child care.
My Availability
I have spaces for both under 5's and before and after school, I mainly pick up from seal school at the moment and have done for about 8yrs. I do do Medmery School as well.

- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Please ask and I do 2 year funding as well as the 3/4 30 hour funding.
