Dear Parents.
I'm Marisa, an spanish girl who is 38 year old. I live in UK since September 2012.
Although I have a degree in journalism, my real passion is working with children. I have been au pair and nanny since I moved to London. I have a son (8 yo) and a daughter (3yo).
I work part time (Tuesdays and Thursdays) in a wonderful nursery in Norbury since January 2020.
I have worked with children from a very wide range of age (from newborn to 10 years). I am a responsible girl, cheerful, patient, funny and trustworthy. I like to make plans with children and play with them. I like reading, listening to music, watching movies and being with my family.
I am person who likes to be learning all the time. In fact, I would like to be a Montessori teacher in a future. My job like nanny lets me to observe and learn from kids and about how they behave. I have a large family: four sisters and a brother. And I have seven nephews whom I adore! I've always careful and I have great experience with children.
I live in Croydon, five minutes walking from Croydon University Hospital and I have a good link by train with other areas. I am happy to travel to do my job.
I have references from all my previous families and also a Paediatric First Aid and DBS.
My Experience
January 2020 - currently. Part time childcare assistant in a nursery in Norbury.
October 2019 - December 2019. Part time childcare assistant in Busy Bees Haling Park.
September 2018 - July 2019. After school nanny with a 7 yea old and 5 year old sisters in Thornton Heath.
June 2016 - July 2019. After school nanny with a 10 year old boy with special educational needs in Norbury.
February 2015 - June 2016. Full time mum and housekeeper in a private house in Richmond three days a week.
September 2014 - January 2015. Nanny full time looking after a boy (3y) and his sister (17 months) in Wimbledon Park. I picked him up from nursery, we went to the park, I cooked healthy food for lunchtime and dinner. Activities like Mussical express, art class and tennis. And I teached them Spanish.
March 2013 - August 2014. Au pair live in looking after a boy (8y) and a girl (6y). In the morning, I made breakfast and pack lunch for them, tidy up their room and drop off them at school. From 3:20pm, pick them up from school and attend activities like swimming, tennis, football and drama. I cooked dinner for them and bathtime. Also babysitting.
September 2012 - January 2013. Au pair live (full time) looking two boys (3y and 1y) in Purffeet (Essex). The mum was flight attendant and traveled a lot. I stayed with them all day while she was abroad. I managed everything at home with kids. Feed them, going to the park, bathtime and bedtime.
