About Me
I offer a childminding service in Rednal and am close to many local schools and nurseries. I currently drop off and collect children from Rednal Hill Infant and Junior schools. At my home every child is welcomed and valued and as every child is unique, I like to spend time getting to know each child and their family as part of the settling in period and the ongoing development of your child. I value very much the contribution that working in partnership with parents brings and am always available to discuss any matters concerning your child. The routines that will be put in place for your child depend very much on discussion with parents/carers to enable your child to settle in happily at my setting and for parents/carers to feel happy in the knowledge that their child is in a safe environment and is being well cared for.
I have dedicated play areas in my home and garden, where your child can enjoy a wide range of activites, and have lots of fun playing with and enjoying a range of age appropriate toys and resources in a safe and friendly environment. I am close to Cofton Park and the Lickey and Waseley Hills and outings there form part of my activities, as well as attending local playgroups.
I also provide Early Education Entitlement funded places for children from 9 months to 4 years old under the current government scheme.
My Experience
I have two children of my own and have worked in a nursery environment since 2007 and have been a qualified Nursery Nurse since 2009. I have gained my experience from being a mother and through working in nurseries with children aged 6 weeks up to the age of 5 when they start school reception, so I have a wide range of experience working with children as they learn through each stage of their development whilst implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage.

NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Communication
Paediatric First Aid
Level 2 award in Food Safety & Hygiene
OFSTED registered.
Diploma in Health Studies
