About Me
Hi my name is Heather I'm a registered childminder with Ofsted and a member of pacey . I have four children, three adult daughters who have flown the nest and 5 grandchildren. I live with my 19 year old son and 2 cats and a cocker spaniel in Basford. On the 17 bus root and very close to the City Hospital.
I offer a nurturing home from home environment where I provide a stimulating and exciting range of activities that allow children to grow in confidence and develop a range of skills. I have two large gardens one has a log cabin which is used as an art studio for the children and the other has climbing frame ship, slide and swings, .mud kitchen, Wendy house/ treehouseand all outside toys.
I provide fresh home cooked meals, all meals, snacks and drinks are inclusive of fees.
My Experience
I have a weath of childcare experiance through bringing my own children up, looking after Grandchildren and childminding.
My Qualifications
I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I have completed all the training required to become a registered childminder, which incorporates Safeguarding children and delivering the EYFS.
I have completed a Paediatric First Aid Course and update every three years.
I have also obtained Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering gained through my last job and continuous food hygiene courses.I have a 5* rating from Nottingham city council.
My Availability
Days, Evenings Monday to Friday
Times 6am to 6pm (after 6pm can be arranged)
sat sun and bankholidays hours are flexible.
I offer full, part time, term time and holiday contracts . I do school drop off and pick ups from nearby schools

I first found Heather through this website 4 years ago when my daughter was 18 months old. After meeting Heather I have never looked back. She is a fantastic child minder and I honestly do not think there is better available. My daughter and Heather have such a fantastic bond and I believe she is a fantastic role model for my little girl. My daughter attended corner house child minding full time for three years and even though we have now moved out of the area my daughter still attends in the school holidays. When I leave for work I have every confidence that my daughter will not only be well looked after but she will also have lots of fun!! My little girl can not wait to get to Heathers most of the time and is always excited to see her. Heather is extremely reliable, friendly, helpful and just absolutely lovely. She keeps records all of the childrens progress which are always up to date and interesting to see.
The setting is ideal with plenty of room for children to play both inside and out. My daughter even tells me Heathers cooking is considerable better than mine. Ha ha!!
I couldn't ask for a better childminder.
