About Me
I have been a registered childminder since 1995. I attended Eastleigh college of further education from 1989 - 1991 where I took a city and guilds qualification in Family Community and care. Before I became a childminder I was a nanny for 4 years. In 2009 i received a grade A in the diploma in home based childcare this a level 3 qualification which every person wanting to work with children is going to have to have by 2015.
I live in Stanmore winchester with my Husband and 2 children a son who is 10 and a daughter who is nearly 7
My Experience
I was first a nanny for 4 years from 1991 until1995 when I became a childminder which I am still doing. I have minded many children over the years. I have minded children from different countries and who speak english as a second language.
My Qualifications
I have a city and guilds family community and care qualification
First aid valid until 2015
I have grade A in diploma in home based childcare.
and in june 2010 I got grade c in GCSE maths
in december 2010 I did a portage course which is looking after children with special needs and I am now doing an accreditation which will be part of another level 3 qualification in childcare.
I have done many different courses on child's development such as schemas and SEAD,social emotional aspects of development.

I am super pleased I found Kirsty in my area to have my 1yo while I return to work.
He took an immediate liking to her and her family and is always in high spirits when I return to pick him up. Kirsty has been very flexible with my schedule in the beginning and I can't thank her enough for being so accommodating.
I think my DS will grow into a confident and happy boy with Kirsty to help.
