About Me
I have been a childminder for 19 years. I have 6 older children aged 45 to 34 years old I have lived in my house for 40 years and been married for 47years this year 2023 48 years in total my last ofsted inspection was 2020 which i got a good
My Experience
I look after children from birth upward
I open at 7.30am and work till 6pm on 8 hour rota only
My Qualifications
Ofstead reg since 2004
My first aid has just been done again in March 2021
my level 1 introduction to safeguarding & child protection is not due again till 8 jan 2022
I also do refresher course on internet with pace my insurens people for childminding
and am up to date with everything else
My Availability
I work school holidays 8 hour rota only or charge for extra hours over the 8 hour rota i was graded off ofsted as a good in 2020
My hours our flexible if needed 7.30 to 3.30pm or 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm any after 6pm childcare to be arranged separately and priced
I drive I have 16 grandchildren My husband works with me as also
I do not do the free childcare places

My Fees
- Babysitting from £8.50 per hour
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
my fees our £40 per day
Ove 52 weeks year
parents to provide a pack lunch or baby foods / baby milk nappies wipes for their children attending this setting
if you wish your child to have their tea here, you must provide a ready-made made meal or pack lunch
all children coming in of a morning should have their breakfast before hand over to me
we provide snacks / drinks
we also need a copy of both parents' work rota hours/ days in advance for the month / year
on signing for your child / children's place, we need upfront fees of 2 full weeks payment
there is also a one-off £10 charge for all paperwork to cover contract fees. Thank you payable before we fill in

Lovely childminder looked after my daughter and she loved every minute of her time there. Always making things and learning her new things. When I picked her up she was like part of her family and most of the time flat out on the sofa, which made me feel comfortable to know how happy she was in bernie’s Care. I would definitely recommend Bernie to anyone looking for a childminder. She is brilliant.

Harry has been coming here for 3 years, I cannot thank you enough for everything you do, It makes going to work so much easier.
He loves the arts and crafts and often comes home with some beautiful creations, I have never had any issues and could not imagine going with another child minder. He is at ease, comfortable and has really come out of his shell whilst being with you.

Jasmine loved being hear loads of arts an crafts. everyday she done something new. very friendly an treats the children as part of the family. days out 2 the zoo the big parks from cooking cakes to makeing there own pizzas
