My Summary

My Experience

I have over 10 years of experience working with children.

My Previous role has been working in New York City with 5 week old Twins, supporting mum at home, until she went back to work when they were 3 months old. I was then full time until they turned 3.
My duties included:
Keeping the boys in a routine
Organising the Nursery
Laundry
Food Shopping
Organising and Storing Breast milk
Providing a stimulating enviroment for the babies
Potty Training
Weaning
Meal Planning

I also have completed Cover work within a Outdoor Forest Preschool and Montessori classroom. I have knowledge of the Forest School Approach, The Montessori Approach And Curiosity Approach. I use a mix of all the practices to enhance my own practice when working in the early years.

Between the age of 16-18 whilst completing my level 3 qualification, I worked in 2 schools, one with a hearing impaired unit. I also worked in 3 nurserys with the age groups newborn-16 months, 16 months-2 years 2-3 and 3-5. Once I had completed my qualification I worked in a nursery working as holiday cover, working with all different ages of children. Whilst at University between 2014-2017 I worked in a nursery in south east london. I completed holiday and sickness cover whilst also completing my degree. My duties throughout these placements included:
- buliding relationships with parents
- planning activities to the interest of the children and to promote there development
- keeping the enviroment clean and tidy
- completing risk assessments within indoor and outdoor enviroments
- nappy changing/ potty and toilet training
- have a deep understanding of the EYFS and track childrens development.
- provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children

During my Summer breaks whilst at university, I worked in America working for two different families, one for the summers of 2015 & 16, the child was 5 and then 6. The other family in 2017, the child was 6 months old. This job role was based at summer camp and then but completing the job role as a live in nanny. I also worked within the familys home in Long island from 2017 until 2024. This has seen the role adapt from baby care to helping with homework and organsing after school activities. The children are now 8 and 5. The duties I completed during these role included:
- Ensuring the child is safe at all times within my care
- Completing the childs washing and putting it away
- Walking the family dog
- Supporting the family with the weaning process and cooking nutrious meals
- Encouraging independence
- Completing the bedtime routine including showering/bathing
- Planning a variety of activities and being active
- Supporting the childs development
- Ensuring the childs routine is stuck to on a day to day basis
- Babysiting/Overnight stays

I also babysit for a variety of families where the children have been 10 weeks too 13 years old.

My Qualifications

First Class Honours Degree In Early Years from the University Of Greenwich
I have also completed my level 3 BTEC in childrens care learning and development. I am pediatric first aid trained. I have also completed a level 2 food and hygiene certificate.

I am open to evening and weekend babysitting

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
