About Me
I am an Accredited (take nursery vouchers) childminder. I live in North Horsham very near North Heath School I have lots of space a large living/ dining area, a conservatory and a garden. I have a wide range of toys and cater for all aged children. I provide a warm, friendly, safe, home environment with a family atmosphere. I have two lovely children of my own and know how important a child's development is. I do lots of activities with the children, mostly led by the children themselves i.e. cooking, arts and crafts. I have a 7seater car and we go on lots of outings where your child can learn and develop in all areas through play.
My Experience
I have been minding for a few years and love working with children. I keep daily diaries for the little ones, so you can see as a parent can see what your little cherubs get up to during the day. I work closely along with other minders we go on lot's of outings, for example Farm's, Parks, Toy Library, Beaches, Wild Life Centre our Local Toddler Groups and many more. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage by keeping a learning journal for each child, which you can read any time. I carry out regular observations on the children, I risk assess nearly everything we do and places we visit and carry out regular fire drills.
My Qualifications
I have completed courses in
NVQ Level 3 in Child Care.
I am an Accredited childminder (take Nursery Vouchers)
Fire training
Enhanced Paediatric First Aid
ICP (Introduction to Childminding Practice) course.
EYFS Observation, Assessment, Planning
I hold an Enhanced CRB disclosure police check.
