About Me
I am an experienced childminder and qualified teacher. I provide a safe 'home from home' environment where children can have fun, make friends and feel 'part of the family'. I live with my husband and 2 children (aged 11 and 16). We have a French Bulldog who we have had from a puppy. She is lovely with children.
I work from a designated playroom in within my house, and also have a large garden with a dedicated area for the children to play in.
My Experience
I have worked as a childminder since 2009, and I love it! Prior to childminding I worked as a mainstream primary teacher for 5 years, with a further 6 years teaching experience in special education. I have also achieved Early Years Professional Status.
I provide a wide range of play and learning experiences both in my home and out at playgroups, singing groups, parks, libraries and local attractions. I run a weekly childminding group for other childminders and the children they care for.

My Qualifications
I am a qualified Primary teacher, and gained Early Years Professional Status in March 2013. I regularly update my qualifications in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene. I have also completed training on Health and Safety, Risk Assessment, Fire Safety and Manual Handling.
I am a member of the Staffordshire Childminding Support Network and access regular training and advice from childcare.co.uk and the local authority.
I provide free funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds
My Availability
My opening hours are 07.30 - 17.30 Monday to Friday. I am willing to be flexible, so please get in touch if you would like care at different times to those given.
