Hello!
I am Veatriki, a professional career nanny with 19+ years of experience in various positions in childcare sector.
I am specialized in looking after newborns, babies, twins and toddlers but I am as good as looking after preschoolers and school aged children too.
I love being a nanny because I prefer one-to-one care and looking the little ones develop and thrive through play with my help.
I love reading, yoga and swimming and I try to add them in my every day care to children. For example, I read to them a lot, I love taking them swimming and from time to time we do some baby/children yoga and mindfulness activities too.
I am an outgoing and outdoorsy person so I love making new friends and take children to activities and different places.
I like baking, cooking and making my own natural organic things for babies and children to play with such as: play-dough, paint etc.
Also, I keep myself up-to-date in the industry with courses, seminars and conferences. I was a speaker on a nanny conference panel last year and I will be back again very soon.
I am a Greek bilingual nanny holding a NVQ 3 degree in childcare.
I have worked in many positions such as: nursery practitioner, room leader, travel nanny, live in and daily nanny, part time and full time nanny, mother's help and after school nanny but the highlight of my nanny career was when I was looking after 3 under 3's! Newborn twins and their sister nearly 3 years old.
I have been organizing my very own Greek playgroup with my friend who is an entertainer, promoting the Greek language and culture in families in London.
I am firm but fun at the same time, responsible, organized, trustworthy and I am very comfortable to get around London with children.
I believe I would have been a great addition to a family with a newborn as I am very good at following their needs or to a family with an older child too as I am very good at communicating and understanding them and I love planning activities, outings and daily adventures.
I love baking with children, reading them stories, playing peekaboo and tummy time with babies and setting up an activity according to the EYFS.
I am also excellent at establishing healthy relationships between siblings, as I am the oldest one of them myself.
I am available on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and all day on Thursday.
I am also available immediately on an ad hoc basis and for babysitting.

I can really recommend Veatriki, she is a wonderful nanny. She cared for our twin boys from just after their first birthday, working for us three days a week and then when I took a career break one day a week and after that as an occasional babysitter.
She is super reliable and trustworthy, always punctual and very well organised.
She has an excellent manner with the children and is very kind and caring. She is always thinking of fun and different activities for them to do but also keeps them happy and entertained at home.
I really highly recommend her!
