Ana was the nanny for our 2 boys (as part of a nanny-share), then aged 4 and 1, and was fantastic! Ana has lots of energy, is incredibly positive, fun and genuinely loves looking after young children and helping them grow and flourish.
Ana was punctual, reliable and did all she could to make going back to work after my second son as easy as possible. She bonded really well with the boys with her warm personality, and was firm, consistent but always kind with them in terms of discipline. Any tricky behaviour was discussed discreetly out of earshot of the kids and we would decide together how to address it. Ana has lots of experience with preschoolers and has good management strategies for boisterous little boys!
Ana is health-conscious and prepared healthy snacks and meals for the children. I was impressed that she got my boys to eat vegetables that they had previously refused! Ana encourages plenty of outdoor play and activity and spent most of the day outside. She taught the kids all about growing vegetables and flowers, sometimes walking them to her allotment to play and experiment with flower pots and watering cans, which they still remember fondly.
Each day Ana planned from a variety of fun day trips for the boys, and sometimes met with other nanny friends at the local playgroups or park, allowing the kids to socialise a bit (she would advise me in advance). Some of this became more tricky during lockdowns but Ana made the best of everything. She is very capable and practical and I never worried about the kids safety or if they were unwell while I was working.
Ana really did feel like one of the family and remains a great friend. I highly recommend her.
We were lucky enough to have Ana look after our children for the past 4 years, initially just one child (aged 1-3) as part of a nanny share with another family and then latterly both of our children (aged 4 and 2) alongside Ana's own daughter. Ana has always taken great care of our children and we have loved having her as part of our family.
Ana has a very caring manner and genuinely loves her job as a Nanny which comes across in her interactions with children, not just the ones she looks after but those she knows from other playgroups etc. I had numerous other 'mum' friends who commented on her caring nature towards my children which was always lovely to hear.
Ana was organised and very pro-active at arranging activities for my children, including local playgroups, trips to the library, local farm, baking and craft at home and trips to museums in central London during school holidays. I was always 100% comfortable with Ana taking my children out and never had any reason to worry for their safety.
Ana always cooked good meals for the children and was very collaborative in her approach to discipline and routine etc. She always discussed with me if there were any behavioural issues and was excellent at communicating in a loving way when behaviour was inappropriate from the children. Her communication skills and attendance record were excellent.
We are going to miss Ana very much and any family would be lucky to have her!
We were lucky to have Ana looking after our two children for three years as part of a share with another family. From the start, Ana threw herself into taking care of their every need. She immediately bonded with our children and it was clear from their reaction, that she was completely at ease with them and that they enjoyed her company immensely. She kept them active with fun daily activities and loved being involved with their development. She was a joy to be around in the house, and she always made every effort to make sure that their needs were catered for. She was conscious of their need for social interaction, and always made sure that they mixed with other children that were part of her nanny community, taking them for playdates and to local playgroups, and trips out into London and local areas.
Ana has made a lasting impression on our two children and was a popular member of our community. She became a core dynamic to our family unit through her personality and commitment to our two children. Ana is a fantastic nanny who would do everything she can to help with the development of the family's children and to support the family in their day to day lives. Any family would be lucky to have her.
When she first started working for us, Ana was looking after my 6 month old and 2 year old as part of a nannyshare with another 1 year old. Ana looked after all three children brilliantly and we could not have been more grateful for the loving care that she showed all of them.
Ana loves the company of little children and has a limitless supply of ideas of things to do with them. When she is at home with them, she provides them with a range of activities including singing, reading, play-doh and building train sets. More often than not though, Ana takes the children outside where she usually spends most of the day. My children loved going to Ana’s allotment to learn about all the fruit and vegetables she grows! Ana has also taken them further afield for day trips into Central London and to local farms and garden centres. I have accompanied her on some of these days out and she always demonstrates good awareness of risk and takes particular care in these situations.
Ana often takes children to local playgroups where many children know her and want to play with her. She has an amazing ability to connect with young children and all three of my children have immediately warmed to her and enjoyed their time with her. Ana has high expectations of behaviour which she implements in a firm but loving way. She is very active and provides healthy and nutritious food for children to eat. Ana is very professional in her role as nanny and her friendly and caring nature has made her an important part of our family. I highly recommend her.
