I can not recommend Sam and James enough. Freddie struggles with change at first but Sam and James have been amazing. Freddie has settled in so well. He loves the activities he does with them and the other children. He is always very chatty and happy when i pick him up and tells me all about his day.
As a parent, from day one, I have felt completely at ease knowing Freddie is being looked after so well.

We have used Sam for both of our girls over the years and have trusted her completely with them. They both always had a great time and did lots of fun activities. After each session Sam would send information about their day with pictures attached, it was lovely seeing my girls smiling and happy when with Sam and having fun. Thank you Sam for all your years of help 😍

We can not recommend Sam and James highly enough. They have looked after our daughter for the last 6months since she was 5 and half months old. They are caring and encouraging. It has been one of the best things we could have done for our little girl. She is always so pleased and happy to go. I don’t have to think or worry about her, whilst she is in their care.

Sam is fantastic and I would recommend her in heartbeat. She is welcoming and approachable. Our son has been extremely happy in her care.

Sam is a really great childminder - always full of energy and smiles, and I feel lucky to have found her!
I'm really impressed with the range of craft activities she gets the kids involved with, and when my youngest is last to be picked up I often find her entertaining him with a game of draughts! She has a wonderful big dining table which is great for the kids to sit at and draw/make things whenever the creative urge takes them.
Importantly, Sam is extremely approachable if any issues arise, and is open to working with me to resolve any problems.
Both my boys are really comfortable at Sammie's, and I hope she continues as a childminder for many years to come!

Sam has been looking after our 16 months old daughter for the past four months and we’re happy with the care she receives. She is always clean when we pick her up. Sam is the first childminder we’ve left our little girl with and she loves going there. The playroom is her favourite place and she gets to do a variety of fun but also educational activities. I would recommend Sam without a doubt to any parent looking for a reliable childminder.

My 18 month old daughter visits Sam twice a week and really enjoys spending time there with Sam's own children and the other children visiting. There's a wide range of toys, a very well equipped playroom and outdoor area (for the warmer months). Sam often does arts and crafts with the children which my daughter enjoys and she lets them do lots of mark making (drawing) which is great too. They get fed healthy and nutritious snacks and meals and have an opportunity for a nap too if they still have one. Sam is very friendly and always lets you know what's happened in the day and how your child has been and also will always let you know if there are any concerns. My daughter is very comfortable with Sam and has settled well, My older daughter is always jealous whenever she comes with me to pick up my youngest from Sam's as she loves the look of the playroom and toys and is desperate for me to book her in! (Sadly for her she's at school!) Would highly recommend if you're looking for a childminder in Royston (we even drive out from one of the villages to use her).

My daughter, who is in year 2, had been in the care of the same child-minder since she was 7 months old but unfortunately she handed her notice in so I needed to find a new child-minder that my daughter & myself would be just as comfortable with & understandably I was nervous! But I needn't have been! I found Sam on this website & arranged to visit her. My daughter immediately took to her & as we left she asked me when she could next go to Sam's house as she liked it so much especially the playroom & her tortoise named Turbo! Sam is so welcoming & her home is immaculate! Sam collects my daughter from school daily & also looks after her in the school holidays & she just loves being there! Sam is very friendly, flexible & fun. She does craft activities with the children, plays in her lovely garden with them & even organised a little after school party for my daughter on her birthday where they made cupcakes & played party games! We are so pleased we found Sam & I cannot recommend her enough.

As soon as I met Sam I felt comfortable with her, her home is welcoming and immaculate. She has a dedicated playroom for the children and a newly renovated garden that is very child friendly. My son took to Sam straight away and often complains that he would rather go home with her than me when I do school pick up! She is always thinking of activities to do with the children after school and during school holidays, however she also recognises that they might also need some downtime after school.
Sam is very reliable, flexible, organised and on top of things and happy to help where she can with last minute requests and cover over the holidays.

Sam looks after our 3 year old and we've been really happy and impressed by the whole experience. She has a lovely environment indoors and out for the kids to play in, and she does a lot of crafts and activities with them which my daughter loves. She built a strong relationship really quickly and my daughter loves going there. Sam has also been really accommodating at times where we've needed a bit of flexibility. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
