Excellent childminder

Andrea had been childminder to my 4 year old son since he was 9 months old. She is excellent in every sense, very professional, reliable, organised, compassionate, but above all loving and genuinely caring. My son had the best time in her care. He was shy and little grumpy little man but Andrea has contributed immensely in developing his happy and adventure seeking character. As a result he gained confidence, good manners, developed key literacy and numeracy skills and all of that in a very happy home environment. When leaving at the age of 4, he was ready and well equipped in every sense to embark on his school adventure.

I feel truly blessed to have shared these past 4 years. Its been a privilege to watch him grow into the kind loving funny little boy he is. I cannot believe how fast time has gone. He has become a big part of our family.

Fantastic childminder

Andrea has been brilliant from the first time we made contact, right from the first text she sent I knew we had found someone special. She always has so much time for you and your children. My little girl has spent two years with Andrea and has loved every minute. Andrea has really helped her to grow and progress from being a baby to the outgoing little girl she is today. She is a warm, loving, fun and very experienced childminder. She helped make the settling in process as easy as it could be with settling in days, it made it a bit less difficult for me to go back to work, knowing that our little girl was being well taken care of. She does lots of arts and crafts projects, outdoor play and trips to children's centres, soft play centres, farms, on the train and parks. Andrea's house is very well resourced with interesting things for the children to do, focused on different areas of learning. I cannot recommend Andrea highly enough.

An exceptional childminder

Andrea looked after my daughter and son when I was really struggling to find someone who I felt completely at ease with. Straight away she put all my worries to rest. The way she nurtures and cares for all the children is fantastic. I never had to worry about my daughter( and son )as I knew she was so happy and having so much fun. Homemade food, day trips out, learning experiences in her fabulous playroom and garden and lots of time and attention are a few of the things that made my daughter love her time with Andrea and her family. Andrea never charged for all the outings she went on (which were a lot) or ever let me down when I needed her to pick up or drop off due to my health.
Andrea helped me out so much and I really appreciate having her as my childminder, Not only for the care for the children but for the support she gave me. She was always just a phone call or text away if I needed to ask anything .
My daughter starts school shortly and I know that the strong support and encouragement given during her early years has provided her with the best start possible.
Thank you from all four of us and for keeping in touch even after we no longer needed a childminder. These are the special touches that andrea gives without a second thought that make her such a wonderful person.

After school care for my two girls age 5years and

Andrea has picked up my two girls from school for the last year now and they have absolutely loved going to her house. She has provided them with snacks after school and got age appropriate activities out for them to play with. She has a great space for the children to explore the toys and a fantastic outside space for the children to enjoy the great outdoors. If it wasn't for the fact we were moving house, the girls would still be going to her after school. A fantastic childminder who cares about the children in her care and a lovely family too. I would highly recommend her.

Fantastic childminder

My son was with Andrea for almost 3 years right until going to school in September 2015 and during this time Andrea's home became an extension of our own. She has a superb space for the kids with a rear garden converted into an outdoor area for children to play in, full of toys, playhouses etc. To extend the season of outdoor play she had the lawn covered fully in artificial turf so kids stay clean and can enjoy the outside even on wet days.
I have seen over the years how much effort Andrea puts into improving the facilities and acquiring new play equipment for the children, she organises trips, takes children to play centres, farms, parks. My son was always keen to go to Andrea's and made many friends there.
Her family is great too, playing with children and just generally being absolutely lovely.
I want to make a particular mention of the fact that Andrea was fully accommodating of my son's medical requirements. She wasn't put off by catering to his allergies and was superb at providing care during his relapses,
when he required frequent cream applications and antibiotics.
I feel I was really fortunate to find Andrea when she still had spaces and I cannot imagine anyone else helping me raise my son through those all important formative years.

Outstanding in my eyes

Andrea is an exceptional childminder. Always willing to that bit extra and she has helped me out so much with my daughter. I cannot praise her enough and would recommend her to anyone. Kind considerate friendly and is very reliable. 5 stars just isnt enough.
