About Me
With over 25 years experience in the childcare field and my present position coming to its natural end, I am now searching for a family in need of my expertise, love and attention. I'm available from beginning of March, earlier if need be and would prefer a full-time position.
I am honest, reliable, hard-working, fun and very loving with a go-to positive attitude. I absolutely love my choosen career and get great pleasure in helping to nurture young children through those early stages of life, giving them a firm basis on which to build.
My Experience
I have worked with children of all ages, however my main area is with babies and pre-schoolers. Previously I have been responsible for weaning, batch cooking and setting routines including sleep patterns for small infants. In addition I have a good success rate when potty training. Preparing and cooking healthy balanced meals for families comes naturally as I love to cook. In my career I have also helped run a toddler group and also assisted in another with their arts and crafts on a regular basis. I use Makaton/baby sign to encourage communication and incorporate it into singing.
My Qualifications
Qualified to O'level/GCSE in English, Maths, Domestic Science.

We have recently had occasion to interview Roisin and speak to her references in relation to a nanny job we were advertising. She was a consummate professional, clearly knew her stuff and is a passionate and committed child care professional. Her references were all glowing. The only reason we did not take things forward with Roisin was because of a covid-related change in circumstances on our side. Otherwise we would have very enthusiastically done so.

I would have no hesitation in employing Roisin, she is a highly experienced and multi-skilled nanny. My 10 month old baby took to her immediately despite the fact that - owing to lockdown - he is not used to socialising with other people.
