Leaving your child with Becki and Kim is like having them cared for by family. From the moment we walked in we got a wonderful homely feel and saw lots of happy smiling children. All engaged in messy creative play. There were toys and books in abundance around and a lovely large garden that over the years has had water play, mud kitchen’s and bouncy castles in along with the usual slides, swings and toys. We knew instantly that this was the right place for our little one.
He started there at 11 m old and has just turned 5. We chose not to send him to the Foundation unit in the school he would attend when he turned 3 because he was so happy and contented and they provided everything he needed to be ready for full time school. We felt he was getting a more rounded education staying with Becki. They have provided over the years so many wonderful experiences for him with their creative ideas for play and visits to local museums and local parks and playgroups. He’s made so many friends of all ages. Babies he’s grown up with and new little friends when younger children and babies join the family group as they become. He’s always been term time only but as he grew he missed Kim and Becki so much we started to book him in during school holidays for a few days. He started full time school in September and settled well with the the start he had at Becki’s s and was more than ready and prepared. He still gets picked up by Becki 3 evenings a week after school rather than go to kids club because he is so happy there.
We couldn’t recommend a more loving family environment and when you are trusting someone to look after your child you need to feel completely comfortable with your choice. Becki and Kim or as she is known now to us Grandma Kim offer everything you want when looking for someone to care for your little one.
One of the biggest and hardest decisions after having a baby is to find the right person/ setting for your baby when returning to work, turned out to be the best and happiest decision I made finding Kim and Becki.
Sending my little boy to them was like leaving him with his grandma and auntie so much so my little boy regards Kim as his grandma,
they treat all the children like family and it is such a warm/ safe and loving environment.
You can clearly see being a childminder isn’t just a job for them it’s a passion and they care so much about all the children.
When it was time for my little boy to start school I was so upset that he would be leaving them, luckily they now pick him up from school so he still gets to see them and keep his close relationship up.
I am so grateful I found this amazing duo and my little boy and I are so lucky to have them :)
Early 2019 I started looking for childminders for my then 6 month old baby.
I met with one childminder than I didn’t get that ‘feeling’ with. I then walked into Kim and Rebecca’s home and I instantly knew it was them.
The home from home they provide is now a second home to me two children who are now 2 and 4, both who have been with Kim and Rebecca since they were 6 and 9 months old.
I regularly receive photos of the activities and outings they go on which is amazing to see and the things they get up to everyday is truly amazing and is all a huge contributing factor to who my children are today.
My oldest is now in school but still goes to Kim and Rebecca’s after school until I pick them both up after work. They both absolutely love going and I never worry about them as I trust Kim and Rebecca with my life.
All of the children have become really good friends and we now have a little community between all the Mums at birthday parties and it is just so lovely. They are more like family to us now.
Choosing Kim and Rebecca as my childminders was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I am so happy Rebecca and Kim look after my little one. She looks happy every day when she comes there, even after holidays always looking forward to be back. Both of them are amazing and even my older one (who are attending sometimes during the half term) keep asking when she can go again to Rebecca and Kim. Nothing else you want to hear from your kid to know children are happy there.
Returning to work after five years of being a stay at home mum was something I thought I'd struggle with when it came to letting someone else look after my youngest son.
My worries and anxieties soon disappeared when we met Rebecca & Kim, they are two wonderful Mammas who are brimming with passion for children.
My son loves his days with them and sometimes he doesn't want to leave, which is a good thing really...it shows he's happy, comfortable and having lots of fun. He regularly comes home with pieces of art he's created during craft time, you wouldn't even know he's been crafting, there's not a trace of paint or glue on him.
Walking into the setting, your immediately met with a 'homely' feeling, it's lovely, welcoming and always clean and fresh smelling The garden is a haven for the little ones with a mud kitchen, see-saw, slide and swings.
They often go to local parks and playgroups, it's fantastic knowing my son is socialising well with other children and getting plenty of exercise. He always comes home, has tea and goes to bed. Since starting Sutton Park Childminders, he sleeps so much more on a night (bonus)!!
I cannot fault any of SPC's policies and procedures, they are amazing. I fully trust them with my son and would recommend then to anyone.
Everything they do is for the children and I am so happy my little one is cared for by Rebecca and Kim.
