My Experience
I have 6 months voluntary experience as a classroom assistant for Year 1 students at Brimsdown Primary School. I have 1 year sole Nanny role experience for 2 children aged 1&5. I also was a Nanny to 2 children ages who are now 12 and 14 where I was for 6 years. I also have another role as a part time Nanny to a child aged 10 where I have been for 5 years. My role as a Nanny included school pick up, cooking, cleaning, and fun activities with the children such as baking, arts and crafts and outdoor play, homework help and revision. Also I offer additional babysitting hours. I have some experience with babysitting under 1's also.

We had a face to face interview and we confirmed that we’d go ahead with Bernadette on Thursdays and Fridays. She came to house on the first day, a Friday and everything went well. The following week, on Thursday, she was due to come, however she cancelled last minute saying she had a family emergency. We were sympathetic of this and made alternative emergency arrangements. The next week, I messaged her on a Monday to ask if she was due to come in Thursday and Friday, I received no response and she didn’t turn up. Very disappointed in her lack of professionalism.
Overall
After a really good initial chat , we set up a face to face interview . First time , she cancelled due to Illness and second time when we rearranged ,we confirmed the night before and she just didn’t turn up without a text or call . Really disappointing and let down for parents who need support.
