Working in Early years myself I found it really difficult to find a childcare setting/ childminder for my son. When I met Kim for the first time I felt this warmth from her straight away and new this was the childminder for us. We always wanted someone who could provide love and care to our son like a family member and Kim did just that!
Our son started with Kim at 8 months old he was just about sitting up and going back to work was daunting, Kim consistently provided me with reassurance and updates so the transition back to work was smooth.
I would recommend Kim to any family as she is absolutely brilliant at her job and our little one adores her. We will be shortly returning to Kim with our second child as we know that he will receive the best care and we have full trust in Kim.
Thank you Kim, you have been absolutely great.

Kim has been looking after our son for over 3 years, having returned to work when he was 7 months old. She was the only childminder I met but we instantly clicked and Sidney settled contently with her from day one. Like any parent, I was nervous about leaving him but we were so fortunate to find Kim. She is truly passionate about her work and has such a wonderful, caring nature and a fun, inviting environment for the children to learn in.
She has always been so encouraging with Sidney and is always creating fun ways for him to learn, even if it means adapting the activity or purchasing additional materials to ensure he is engaged and enjoying it.
Sidney also goes to a nursery 2 days a week but I feel he learns more and has a better structure at Kim’s. She is my go-to with any concerns or if I need advice and I trust her implicitly. Since returning to work full time she has been so accommodating and I’m settled in the fact that Sidney is in her company and a home-from-home environment where he is happy. She provides homemade, healthy and nutritious meals which Sidney loves and he always eats well.
We’ve built a wonderful relationship and are very fond of Kim and her family who are all so welcoming. We have, unfortunately, moved to a different town and my son is starting school which is the only reason I am having to seek alternative childcare.
It’s not just Sidney who instantly adored Kim but us too. I don’t know what I’m going to do without her friendly face at the end of a stressful day.
Thank you Kim for all you have done to support our family over the years. We truly appreciate it and will miss you x

My son, Sean has been going to Kim’s since he was 3 years old, he is nearly 12 now and about to head to high school. From the outset I knew Kim was the right choice for us. Her home is so welcoming and safe and it’s clear she very much cares about the children. The children are offered a fun, enjoyable and environment that supports and encourages their development. They have a wide variety of toys, games, books and are encouraged to use their imagination in the games they play or invent. Kim has always provided a healthy home cooked meal and is very good at encouraging the fussy eaters to try new things. Over the years Kim has been incredibly professional & flexible and I can honestly say has never let us down. We have always been given regular updates on how his day went, what activities he did and what he ate. When Sean started school the dropping off and collecting him was seamless, he was always very happy to go home to Kim’s and we always felt it was like home from home. We are all very sad to say goodbye, especially Sean who couldn’t quite believe it when we told him a few years ago that it was Kims job! Goes to show how relaxed and comfortable he was and we have to give Kim huge thanks for that.

I came across Kim when I was looking for a childminder to help with schools drop off and collections.
From the very beginning Kim made us feel at ease and really tried to understand our schedule and was very flexible and accommodating of our early starts needs.
My daughter loved attending and can see Kim really helped her adapt to her new routine and managed the almost impossible improve her eating habits.
Kim is very kind but also very structured and can't recommend her enough to anyone looking to place their child in her care.

My son started going to Kim’s from the age of about 16 months and is now 3 and has started at nursery.
Kim provides a warm, friendly and fun learning environment for the children. My son settled really well and thoroughly enjoyed his days there. They enjoy crafts, learning songs, outdoor play and having lots of fun. Kim’s home is a perfect setting with plenty of space and is safe and secure.
I couldn’t have asked for a better childminder. I knew from the moment I met Kim I wanted her to look after my son and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Thanks so much was a privileged to look after your son and hopefully see you all back in September 2023 for his new school.
Kim has been looking after my son for nearly 3 years now. Nicholas was only 9 months old when he started with her and took quite a long time to settle in. But Kim had been absolutely amazing with him. She persevered and always assured me by sending photo's of how he was doing during those early times. Now he can't wait to go to her house and see his friends! She also looks after my daughter during the school holidays, which is such a relief and assurance for me as parent knowing they are together and being well looked after.
Kim is very kind, warm, friendly and patient. She uses a variety of activities with the children and many of them aiming for appropriate level of function relating to age/stage. She is very well set up with great facilities. We are very sad to be leaving her (due to relocation) and can only hope to find another childminder as lovely and great as her.

My little boy has been going to Kim’s for over two years now since he was 7months old.
Kim has fantastic facilities for children of all ages with almost a nursery-like setting with a huge playroom and kitchen area- my little boy always loves going!
As he was very little when he first starting going to Kim’s I wanted someone with lots of experience. Nothing throws her and I always felt comfortable leaving him in her safe hands.
The best thing for us as a family was the flexibility of a childminder and Kim really has been brilliant with us often needing help last minute.
Her rates are reasonable and worth every penny.
Highly recommended!

Ethan has been going to Kim since September 2019 (when he was nearly 2) whilst our permanent childminder has been away for 6 months. I was very nervous how he would make the transition but he settled in perfectly and most days doesn’t want to come home. Kim is a really warm and friendly individual with a lovely home and really welcoming family. Her facilities are great with a big garden with outdoor play equipment and fruit and veg patch. There is a dedicated play room with a fantastic variety of toys and books for all ages plus a little toilet which is good for potty training. She makes varied, well balanced meals which allowed Ethan to try new dishes. She is really flexible with her hours in case I needed to drop him off late or was stuck getting back from work. She also gives me really great advice on his development and key milestones. Ethan is going back to the other childminder when she returns since it works for us better in terms of location. We can’t recommend Kim enough. We will really miss having him with her but look forward to keeping in touch and hope to have her again for babysitting and when Ethan starts school for the drop off and pick up option. Thank you again Kim!

Kim has been a fantastic childminder to my 20 month old son! He has come up on leaps and bounds in the time that he has spent with Kim. As any parent would be, I was very nervous about leaving my son for the first time, Kim worked out a settling in period to ensure that it was a smooth transition for us both. Kim has a lovely warm environment for the children, she has lots of toys and activities that would appeal to all ages and gender. Lunches were always prepared fresh and were full of variety! Kim was super flexible and accommodated changes in days/times where she could and was always on hand at short notice. If you are looking for a loving and nurturing environment for your child then Kim would definitely be the childminder for you!

My daughter has been going to kims for about a year and my daughter loved going. Kim has been very flexible and this has been a great help when you need extra hours. Her facilities are excellent, including a toilet for the children, and excellent outdoor play area. Kim is very patient and understanding when your child is having a moody day or not very well. When anything is wrong or your child has become unwell, Kim is straight on the phone to you and keeps you updated. I highly recommend Kim, her prices are very reasonable and affordable. Kim is a lovely, kind lady and is excellent with children.
