About Me
My name is Monika and I run my own childminding setting -MiniMo&Co.Childcare and Education.It is more home environment than nursery,but in terms of government requirements very similar. I'm qualified teacher with masters degree in Pedagogy and Educational Studies, Teaching and Media Pedagogy. I accept early years educational funding and tax free childcare. I have experience as a teacher, teaching assistant and foreign language teacher. I have 9 years old son. He is very friendly towards other children and always happy to meet new friends. I'm married and my husband work full time, but support my passion for childcare, education and sport. My husband is also my assistant "as and when needed".
My circle of interest are ways to support children's development and learning support through play and education. That's why I offer lot's of indoors and outdoors activities. Physical activity is very important for me and I do my best to help children be active and to understand the importance of healthy lifestyle. Most of the time we are out and about, as I think "not all classrooms have walls " and children benefit from learning through nature, experience and play.
I always make sure all I do is interesting, fun and safe for children. When I think about all activities for children I always take under consideration child's needs and interest.
I am interested in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf and Curiosity approach.
I am friendly ,enthusiastic and experienced childminder who provide childcare and education in homely environment.
My target is children feel home, be independent ,happy and I want to extend their childhood before they go to school. I work flexible hours with close cooperation of children parents/carers.

Monika as a childminder was recommended to us by a friend and we were lucky a space became available when we needed it!
Monika looked after our daughter over a two-and-a-half-year period; from day one, she made my little girl feel very welcome and comfortable which gave me peace of mind every time I left her in Monika's care.
Monika is a highly-qualified, attentive and observant professional who spotted potential issues as soon as they arose. She is also very knowledgeable and helped us navigate through various paths of the state's system, be it obtaining government funding or guiding us through SEND support options. On top of it all, Monika always made sure children were well-stimulated through play and they were always kept entertained; she took them on various trips and to playgroups where they could interact with others, arranged art activities and ensured they spent time outdoors.
My daughter never complained, she loved spending time at Monika's which was reassuring and I knew I did not need to worry. I feel Monika helped my daughter come out of her shell and made her grow into a confident and assertive girl who was definitely ready to start school this September. We could not have done it all without Monika, she is the best childminder anyone can wish for!

I found Monika five years ago when my son was starting school and I was looking for someone to take him and pick him up. By luck, her son and my son were starting at the same school and end up on the same class! She has been a lifesaver and provided a home away from home for my son (and daughter once she also started school). I cannot recommend her enough!

Monika has a really lovely manner with all the children in her care. She always seems kind, calm and patient with them. She provides a very entertaining and stimulating environment for children. My daughter is always enjoy going to Monika's.
I highly recommend Monika as she is very lovely, reliable, caring and trustworthy childminder. Any little one would be lucky to have her!

I wasn't looking long time for the childcare for my baby as I already knew reviews of Monika's place from my friend. And I decided to give it a shot and lucky for us she had a space for my daughter!!! There really couldn't be a better choice. My little girl loves going there. She has enjoyed it so much so she couldn't wait to go there day after day. She even wants me to tell her a bed time story about the new adventures of 'Auntie Monika's and the Band'. She started going there when she was a 19 months baby and she learned so much since then. She found a friends, learned a lot about herself, about the daily routine. She is different person since she started and by that I mean that she has grown up in a good directions. Of course this is all because of the Monika's honesty, patience, and caring. Thank you for that! And with all honesty I certainly would recommend that place :)

My son loves to spend time with a passionate childminder- Monika and other childrens. He always comes out smiling. When I ask him what they did today he always tells with fascination that they were on a trip, they painted, played at the playground etc. Different attractions every day.
I highly recommend Monika.
