Rosemary has been exceptional in walking us through the nitty gritty and all the nuances of a new born - first time parenting could be a Herculean task but she made it so easy that has enabled us to operated at ease. We had a specific set of questions / clarifications ahead of Rosemary’s arrival which always help and in addition Rosemary’s practical tips saves us lot of time be it baby bottle feeding or gadget purchases to weaning stage preparations - dos and donts. Definitely she is a star!

We wanted to be able to introduce the bottle for some feeding while continuing to breastfeed but our daughter was refusing. Rosemary gave really clear and practical advice, walking through steps we can take and explaining the theory behind it. She was empathetic and not forceful in how she approached the advice and was very proactive and supportive as we resolve, achieving good results over an admittedly difficult weekend and then into the next week. All the way through, she recognised our agency while supporting our needs, which is just what you need, placing the emphasis on advice rather than making you feel you’re mismanaging or making bad decisions. Thank you!

Our second child is six months old and has always refused the bottle, resulting in my wife breastfeeding 24/7 without any rest bite. After months of trying different techniques, bottles, temperatures, teats and going down the google rabbit hole, we were introduced to Rosemary. She came over to our house and her friendly demeanour and wealth of knowledge put us at ease instantly. She stayed over at our home for a couple of nights and with her calming presence and persistence, managed to get our daughter used to taking the bottle. My wife can finally get some rest as I use the bottle on Mimi. We are forever grateful for Rosemary and cannot praise and recommend her enough. If you have any queries at all, I guarantee she can help

Our 5 month old started refusing the bottle just as my wife was planning her return to work. We thought we had tried everything and reached out to Rosemary for help. Rosemary took the time to listen to our situation and generously gave me advice on how to change my approach. After a few days respite from trying the bottle (to "reset") we sat down for the first bottle of the day and amazingly our baby took to it like it was the most natural thing in the world, followed by another three bottles that day. Rosemary's advice really helped and her confidence definitely rubbed off on me. We now do a bottle every morning and I'm confident that I'll be able to feed our baby when my wife returns to work.

We are very grateful for Rosemary's advice and would definitely recommend speaking to her if you are struggling to give a bottle.

I cannot thank Rosemary enough! With her guidance our 6 month old daughter O went from total bottle refusal to taking expressed bottles within 24 hours and then hydrolysed formula (which smells really funky!) within 72 hours.
Her instructions were always calm and clear, and she was always available on the end of the phone. Plus they really worked! After nearly 2 months of trying various bottles and teets with no success I still can’t quite believe it!! Thanks so much again!!

Rosemary came the day after we returned from the hospital and spent several days with us in the first couple of weeks teaching the basics from breastfeeding to bathing.

She helped not only to set routine for baby but also to build my confidence as a new mom.

She is trustworthy, very experienced and approachable. Every baby is different. We very much appreciate her support from the beginning.

Rosemary came to our rescue when our 7 months old son was continuing to refuse to take a bottle. We were getting desperate with my return to work looming on the horizon in 4 weeks.
Rosemary wasn't just brilliant she was absolutely phenomenal. She is kind, caring, professional and extremely skilled. As any mother would, I was extremely anxious about the whole process, but realised it was all going to be fine as soon as she walked in through the door! She has an aura of calm and composure about her which stems from her wealth of experience.
Within 12 hours, our stubborn little man was drinking from a bottle and is continuing to do so and is also sleeping much better. Rosemary didn't just get our son to take the bottle, she helped us reassess and resolve a number of issues we were struggling with. We will forever be grateful to her for helping us and can't recommend her enough. I only wish I had met her much much earlier in my journey as a mother, I imagine she would have made my journey a lot easier. Thank you Rosemary, you are amazing.

I contacted Rosemary when I had hit a brick wall, trying to get my (by now) 4 month old to take the bottle. A friend's maternity nurse had recommended her. I thought I had tried absolutely everything - multiple teats, multiple attempts, trying to get others to feed my daughter etc. and wasn't particularly optimistic. Rosemary's confidence was contagious and she gave us fantastic practical and moral support. She spoke to my husband and me separately about how we could achieve this seemingly impossible task and was reassuring, sensitive and encouraging. I was impressed by how Rosemary knew just when to check in with us and could predict how my daughter might react, suggesting solutions at every turn. It was lovely working with someone who was entirely non-judgemental and who trod that line of emotional support and advice so well. I would recommend her to anyone!

After many failed attempts at getting our 3 month old daughter to take a bottle, I sought advice online and came across Rosemary.
She is a very kind and generous person who gave clear advice. As I talked through our situation she was so supportive and informative. I listened to her detailed advice on how to help my daughter to take a bottle and my mum and sister were able to put it into practice. It's day 2 today and my daughter is happily drinking a bottle.

I felt quite helpless and upset before talking to Rosemary and she has helped me feel more confident as a new mum. I really would recommend Rosemary because of her gentle, calm and supportive approach.

Rosie was so helpful and her guidance has made a huge difference to our sleep and sanity with our three week old. Just one consultation with her, and her generous phone support, helped us make an immediate leap from cluster feeding all night and using me as a dummy to sleeping for 5 hours straight. We now have a strong pattern for feeding, playing and sleeping that works for our whole family and our baby.
I highly recommend working with Rosie. It's a highly valuable investment in really enjoying time with a precious newborn.
Thank you.

We got in touch with Rosie on the advice of a friend and I am so glad we did. Our 7 month old son had been refusing the bottle for months, we'd tried everything! Rosie told us exactly what we needed to know and success was ours 24 hours later! She was just at the other end of the phone if we needed her and made sure to follow up to see how we were doing. She even gave us a wealth of useful information to help with our son's eczema. I can't recommend her highly enough!

On Thursday 16th March 2017 I had reached the end of my tether, after my 5 month old had been repeatedly refusing the bottle for approx. 30 days......cue, Rosemary Kennedy. I was put in touch with Rosemary following a Facebook plea and called her the following morning.
Rosemary was sooooooo incredibly helpful offering me unlimited free phone advice and gave me an immediate plan. My husband and I got straight on with it on Sunday am first feed and I can now say that as of today, Monday 20th March my daughter now bottle feeds!
I have called Rosemary to let her know and her continued kind and encouraging nature is endless. She would like me to stay in touch and let her know how it is going.
People like Rosemary are rare....kind, generous with their time and encouraging to other mothers out there. So if you need some help or advice please call Rosemary. I didn't know her before Friday, have never met her but she has helped me immensely and I am forever grateful to this wonderful woman.
P.s. Do you do therapy too?!

Rosemary was recommended to me by a friend as I had reached the end of my tether trying to get my nearly 5 month old on the bottle. Rosemary arrived and I instantly liked her - it was like welcoming an old friend into our house and she was brilliant with my other children too. She explained the process to us comprehensively and encouraged me to spend the day away from the house so that my little one wouldn't smell me and my milk! We ended up having a lovely day out and Rosemary kept us posted with texts and a facetime call of M's progress. I expected M to be miserable and hungry but she wasn't - she was taking very small amounts but happily. Rosemary was relaxed and professional and also encouraged my husband to go out and enjoy a rare night out which we duly did! After 24 hours or so M was taking larger amounts by bottle from my husband and Rosemary left at the end of day 2 with very clear instructions and has been very supportive via text and phone since. M took her first bottle from me after 48 hours. I have also managed to breastfeed too which I was worried might set us back but it doesn't seem to have done so far, as I would like to mix feed going forward. I would thoroughly recommend Rosemary's services - she was lovely and has enabled me to gain a bit more freedom away from my precious little girl (and the ability to enjoy a couple of drinks!)

Rosemary was recommended to me by a friend when I was struggling to get my 5 month old baby to nap. I was experiencing lots of crying and fussing and was dreading nap times every day. Rosemary has a very flexible and practical approach and we started with some advice over the phone which was enough to break a bad cycle and get me back on track. If more work was needed Rosemary was prepared to travel to help out in person. Fantastic advice from a compassionate, and clearly very experienced professional!

Nanny Rosie was recommended to us after I had a particularly traumatic birth and several ongoing complications with myself and our baby boy.

We were in hospital for two weeks and Nanny Rosie actually came to the ward at very short notice to talk to us and to come up with a plan for when I was discharged.

With elderly grandparents who didn't live nearby, we quickly warmed to Rosie who offered to help fulfil this role - not only helping practically with the baby as we got to grips with breastfeeding and later with bottle feeding, but also giving us lots of tips to save time with the household.

Rosie was extremely flexible, staying the first night and being on hand thereafter for visits to discuss various problems and issues, as we were learning how to look after our first born baby, whilst I got back to good health.

We will definitely continue to use Rosie as we no doubt come up against new problems with weaning and toddler tantrums in the future. If we are lucky enough to have a second child, I am sure we will call upon her then too.

Although Rosie is local to us in Brighton, I persuaded a friend in London to use her as she was at her wits' end with her newborn son too and we both agree that Rosie is worth her weight in gold. I would not hesitate to recommend her modern, no nonsense and caring approach to any parent or carer.

Nanny Rosie arrived in our lives like a much less saccharine version of Mary Poppins - not flying by umbrella but parachuting herself in at merely hours notice when I rang her in tears. (She'd already made things feel a bit better over the phone).
We'd had a pretty horrific time with breastfeeding, battling recurrent thrush and then an undiagnosed tongue-tie which had resulted in my son going from a sunny little cherub in the first few weeks to a constantly screaming, constantly feeding, unsleeping, unhappy baby by week 8. Shivering with mastitis on top of everything I made the decision to move to bottle feeding overnight, and a friend recommended Nanny Rosie to help me with the transition and any other problems.
I only wish I'd called her in earlier. She is an absolute legend. She baby-whispered our son to calmness within minutes, gave us simple and practical advice on moving to bottle feeding, and comforted a very frazzled pair of parents. She also gave us hundreds of other tips on every aspect of babycare that are going to be useful everyday as our son grows. She's also refreshingly free from baby bullshit - if you've had enough of people pushing the same old impractical, unachievable solutions on you without thought as to whether they work for you or your family, call Nanny Rosie.
I truly believe everyone should get a couple of hours of Nanny Rosie provided through the NHS! It'd be more use than all the health visitor visits put together.
I should also say that she is ultra honest. We initially tried to book her for a few days including overnights as we were at the end of our tether, but as she couldn't make the first overnight due to a previous booking she suggested she come for an afternoon and then see if we needed her for longer. Our little boy was back to his original happy self so quickly we didn't, so she very honestly saved us the money when she could quite easily have just taken the booking and the cash without questioning it.
She's a very warm, kind, funny person, and makes you feel instantly calmer and like all will be ok. Even though our major problems seem to be over and we have a cheery, bottle-guzzling baby, it is so comforting to know Nanny Rosie is only a call or text away. I would recommend her to anyone and would call her again in an instant if we hit any more bumps in the road. Thanks Nanny Rosie!x

I was recommended Rosie by a good friend who had helped her and her baby from birth. As a newly trained maternity nurse with a little experience, I thought that having my own would be a breeze, but that was not the case, I was in a haze of hormones and tiredness and was quite simply lost with what to do with my newborn, especially as I wanted to breast feed as well as top up with formula and was concerned I had created a issue as my 2 week old baby was getting frustrated on the breast. My baby was also very sleepy and so feeding was a general challenge, plus I wasn't sure if I had a correct latch even though I'd been to 2 breast feeding clinics at the hospital.

I had an over-the-phone consultation with Rosie and she was a miracle worker. Talking to her was just what I needed to give me the confidence in my ability to look after my baby and empowering me by troubleshooting and offering practical and easy to apply advice. Her key strength is to listen to the background of the family, how they want to incorporate the new baby into the family and then look at actions and explaining how modifying actions can solve the issues. She seemed to have a very bespoke approach, really listening to what we were trying to achieve and applying her experience to suit us, rather than pushing a standard approach and clearly has depth of experience with a variety of different types of babies and issues.

Rosie is clearly a very caring and kind person and is truly passionate about helping parents with any problem they want to solve with their baby in a variety of ways; over the phone, Skype and in the home.

Rosie completely empowered my husband and I and I'm really grateful for her help with my baby, without her I would've continued to struggle and doubt my abilities as a new mother.

I can honestly say that Rosemary is a god send. She has been my guru from day 1 of my new daughter's arrival (who is now 6 months old). She has a way and manner about her which I can only describe as being akin to a baby whisperer. She is able to understand any baby's needs and ways within a few minutes of meeting them.

She helped ease my mind with so many concerns and difficulties I was having. Rosemary helped me to realise that I was not alone in my troubled thoughts and guided me to realising that there is always usually a simple explanation for things and to think about the scenario as if it was me. For example, so simple, but I was worried that my baby wasn't always drinking enough milk at every feed and I got very stressed over it. Rosemary helped me to see the situation from a normal perspective and reminded me that a baby is no different from us, in the fact that we aren't always hungry at every meal and eat less sometimes and more other times. What an amazing way of viewing things and I continue to think like Rosemary showed me.

Her presence, experience and expertise is priceless and I could not recommend her more highly. My life with a new born has been so smooth sailing and enjoyable because of her. I still regularly seek her help and advice (even if it's just a short phone call to help ease my mind), and will do, I think, until my child is 18!
